Because it belongs to the form aggregate of inherent nature, it is not called mind, because it completely transforms into the nature of abandoning, not abandoning, and the opposite of the two through body and speech. As it is said, "What is said as thinking, that is of body and speech." In order to show the definition of thinking, it is said that "thinking refers to what is done after thinking through the mind," that is, the actions of body and speech caused by thinking through the mind, are called the actions of thinking, because they do not manifest and act without examination and consideration. In order to show this, it is said, "Thus, what is said as the action of thinking is of body and speech." "Because it arises from body and speech, and ultimately completes from their gateways," this is a separate explanation of the sounds of "of body" and "of speech," that is, the three actions of body and four actions of speech caused by the mind of virtue, non-virtue, and neutrality, because they arise from body and speech belonging to the form aggregate, and ultimately become the nature of virtue, non-virtue, or neutrality through the gateways of body and speech, therefore they are called actions of body and actions of speech. Thus, two kinds of actions are temporarily shown, which is the concluding remark, that is, their actions of body, speech, and mind, which are different due to the distinctions of virtue, non-virtue, and neutrality, are also two kinds, namely the action of mind and the action of thinking, as such what is said is also the definition of action. Thus, the scripture is proclaimed. Now, because it is said that these two kinds of actions, the action of mind and the action of thinking, also have many differences, in order to show the definition of action. How are there many kinds? As it is said, "Speech and movement and non-abandoning, what is called non-manifestation, the non-manifestation of abandoning, others are also considered the same, the merit arising from enjoyment, the reason for non-merit, these four, mind and dharma those seven, are considered to manifest as actions." Thus it is said.

Eh. The meaning of this summary is: the karma of speech, the karma of action, the non-relinquishing non-revealing karma, the relinquishing non-revealing karma, the meritorious karma arising from enjoyment, the karma arising from enjoyment, the karma arising from non-merit, and the karma of mind. These seven are considered to be the nature of karma. They are also said to be the nature of karma. Now, these seven karmas, which are the meanings of the branches of those verses, will be explained in order. In order to explain the karma of speech, it is said, "Speech is the clear expression of letters," which indicates the four karmas of speech, which are the things covered by virtue, non-virtue, and neutrality. In order to explain the karma of action, it is said, "Action is the movement of the body," which indicates the three karmas of the body, which are the things covered by virtue, non-virtue, and neutrality. In order to explain the non-relinquishing non-revealing karma, the so-called "non-relinquishing non-revealing" refers to, from the moment I vow to do such and such an evil deed with body, speech, or mind, even if the actor ultimately does not accomplish it, but from the cause of truly accepting the evil deed, the non-revealing form with the nature of non-relinquishing, what are those?" This indicates the non-revealing karma that does not belong to discipline. Its nature depends on the revealing forms of body and speech. For example, a person promises not to give up killing, etc. This non-revealing form with the nature of non-relinquishing is an invisible and unobstructed form. The way it arises is that, in the desire realm, people of the hunter, butcher, bird catcher, fisherman, etc. castes, or others who are not of these castes, can do it. They vow, "From now on, I will not give up killing, etc. with body, speech, or mind." From the moment of making the vow, until the vow that has been made is not abandoned,

Even in situations of mental distraction, absence of mind, and non-distraction, even if that action is not performed, it will arise from the cause of truly undertaking non-virtuous actions, belonging to the non-restraint, the non-abandoning characteristic of non-manifest form, arising in the stream of consciousness. In order to explain the non-manifest action of abandonment, other non-manifest forms of abandonment are also similarly accepted. That is to say, from the thought of 'I will do such and such virtuous deeds with body, speech, or mind,' until the practitioner does not perform that action, but is generated by the mind that has truly undertaken virtuous deeds, whatever is the non-manifest form of the characteristic of abandonment, is spoken of in this way. Therefore, this explains the non-manifest action belonging to the vows, which are of three types: belonging to the Pratimoksha vows, belonging to the Dhyana vows, and belonging to the Anāsrava vows. Among them, the characteristic of belonging to the Pratimoksha vows is the non-manifest form of the characteristic of the vows of the seven assemblies arising in dependence on the manifest forms of body and speech, namely Bhikshu, Bhikshuni, Shikshamana, Shramanera, Shramanerika, Upasaka, and Upasika, which is invisible and obstructive. The way it arises is that anyone other than those who do not hold vows can do it, that is, relying on the manifest forms of prostration, joining palms, etc., with the body, and taking refuge in the Three Jewels with the mouth, and undertaking the precepts, etc., if one makes a vow saying: 'From now on, I will abandon killing and other virtuous deeds with body, speech, or mind, and truly undertake the vows of Upasaka, etc.' From the moment of making the vow, until the continuity of the vow is not abandoned, the practitioner, in situations of mental distraction, absence of mind, and non-distraction, even if that action is not performed, but arises from the cause of truly undertaking the vows, belonging to the non-restraint, the characteristic of abandonment, belonging to the Pratimoksha vows.
