When saying "like the playground, etc.," those are the subject, the dharma to be established, the establishing dharma, and the example, to be connected in order. For example, the aggregates of individual ordinary beings, or external earth, etc., are aggregates because they are the nature of aggregates, and because they are of the nature of arising and ceasing. They are not Tathagatas. Similarly, the aggregates marked by the body, marks, and signs of a Tathagata are also aggregates because they are the nature of aggregates, and because they are of the nature of arising and ceasing. They are not Tathagatas. Similarly, it should also be said because of reasons such as being made. This is how to connect it: In ultimate truth, the aggregates are not Tathagatas, because they are made, are objects of the eye, are obstructive, are delight, are the cause of complete torment, etc. For example, like the aggregates of individual ordinary beings, or external things, etc. Or, in ultimate truth, the aggregates are not Tathagatas, because the arising of those is prevented, and because the existence as the nature of form, etc., is prevented. These two should also be combined as the proposition and the reason of the previous example. For a while, those are to make the aggregates the subject, showing the negation of the Tathagata. Now, to make wisdom the subject, in order to show the negation of the Tathagata. Or, speaking by making only wisdom the subject, in ultimate truth, wisdom is not the Tathagata, because it is of the nature of arising and ceasing, and because it is the nature of consciousness, for example, saying like the consciousness of individual ordinary beings. Those are also to be connected in order as the subject, the dharma to be established, the establishing dharma, and the example. For example, the consciousness of individual ordinary beings is of the nature of arising and ceasing, and because it is the nature of consciousness. It is not the Tathagata, similarly, the wisdom of liberation of the Tathagata is also because it is of the nature of arising and ceasing.

Moreover, because it is consciousness, it is not the Tathagata. Here, if the non-Buddhists say this: You Buddhists, the aggregates adorned with the marks and signs of the Tathagata's body, and the wisdom of liberation, etc., are not the Tathagata, this is indeed true. Then, our teachers, such as Purna, the Completer, etc., the aggregates symbolized by bodies, necklaces, hair knots, tree bark, etc., and their consciousness of realizing Dharma and non-Dharma, etc., are the Tathagata. If they say this, then to them it should be said: Even nominally, the aggregates and consciousness of Purna, etc., are not the Tathagata, because they are bodies that live on food, etc., and have minds with wrong views, etc., like the body of a prostitute and the mind of a calf. To show the second commitment, the non-Buddhists think that the Tathagata is different from the aggregates, and want to establish it as self, so for them this is said: There is no other than the body, the Tathagata, because there is no inference that shows the existence of a Tathagata different from these, and just as refuting the self different from the aggregates, it is also refuted. Having said this, the first commitment previously refuted that the aggregates are not the Tathagata, and here the non-Buddhists think that the Tathagata is different from the aggregates, and also want to establish it as self, so to refute them, the second commitment is said. This also, if asked: What is not different from the aggregates? To show that it is the Tathagata, it is said: There is no other than the body, it is the Tathagata. Why? Because the non-Buddhists, such as the Sakyas and Kanada and the grain eaters, etc., have no inference to show the existence of a self called Tathagata different from their aggregates, and for the Madhyamikas, there is an inference to refute the self different from the aggregates, if it is different from the aggregates, it will lose the nature of the aggregates, etc.
