The law, as well as the law of proof, and the analogy, are combined in order. For example, since the rabbit's horn has not completely transformed into the nature of the fruit, it will not transform. Similarly, since the cause has not completely transformed, it will not transform into the nature of the fruit either. Because inferring from non-transformation will cause harm, that is also unreasonable. If the Samkhyas here say: Because other dharmas called bracelets cause the substance of gold to deteriorate, it is not permanent; because other dharmas such as armlets arise from the gold itself, it is not annihilation. In order to answer this aforementioned view raised from within, the commentator himself said here: Because it is not possible to point out that other dharmas with the characteristics of deterioration will regress, and the refutation of transformation has already been explained. That is to say, because no definite dharma will completely transform, it cannot be pointed out, and the refutation of it has already been explained. Furthermore, if things have self-nature, etc., then Furthermore, if other opponents, as they wish, believe that things truly have self-nature, then self-nature will not completely abandon its own self-nature. At no time will things become non-existent, and in that case, it will also lead to the view of permanence. In order to explain that point, it is said: If things have self-nature, things should not become non-existent. Here, "if things have self-nature" is the subject to be established, and "things should not become non-existent" is the dharma to be established. Because it has not completely abandoned its own self-nature, just as fire should not become cold. The law of proof and the analogy raised from within are combined. For example, just as fire should not become cold because it will not completely abandon its own self-nature, similarly, if things also have self-nature, things should not become non-existent because they will not completely abandon their own self-nature, therefore it will lead to the view of permanence. Now, since things are the dharma of arising and ceasing

Because it is established as without inherent existence, therefore, in order to show that seeing it in that way will not lead to clinging to the views of permanence and annihilation. Production is the existence of a thing, and destruction is the non-existence of a thing, also because of seeing this, therefore, things are established as without inherent existence, because it is the law of arising and ceasing. Thus it is said. Therefore, things are without inherent existence, because they abandon their own nature, just like being different from it, so it shows that seeing it in that way will not lead to clinging to the views of permanence and annihilation. Furthermore, at the time of Nirvana, there is annihilation, because the stream of existence is completely extinguished. Just like the last mind and mental factors of an Arhat, because there is no subsequent cause and condition, they do not arise, it is difficult to answer. Furthermore, if the opponent, as desired, in the ultimate truth, things become inherently existent, then at the time of Nirvana, because the stream of existence is completely extinguished, it is difficult to answer the refutation of annihilation, if so, it will also lead to clinging to annihilation. Among them, if things have inherent existence, this is the subject, at the time of Nirvana, there will be annihilation, this is the proposition to be established. Because the stream of existence is completely extinguished, this is the reason to be established. Just like the last mind and mental factors of an Arhat, because there is no subsequent cause and condition, they do not arise, this is the analogy. If one admits that things exist, for example, the last mind and mental factors of an Arhat, because there is no subsequent cause and condition, they do not arise, just like the stream of existence is completely extinguished, at the time of Nirvana, there will be annihilation, it is difficult to answer, similarly, if one admits that things exist, then at the time of cessation, because the stream of existence is completely extinguished, there will be cessation and at the time of Nirvana, there will be annihilation, it is difficult to answer, if so, it will lead to clinging to annihilation. If someone thinks like this, if there is annihilation at the time of Nirvana, then let it be annihilated, it is easy, because there is no annihilation during the period of the stream of existence, so it is considered that there is no fault. If the opponent thinks like this, if there is annihilation in the state of Samsara, it will become a fault.
