It is shown that it is not permissible to say that fire dispels darkness because the agent of extinguishing darkness is not fire because it is extinguished by its own nature, which contradicts the end of the author's work. Furthermore, what was said that if those exist, then what should be destroyed is not apprehended, is established in the arising of a continuum of different characteristics. If snow, salt, fire, hammer, and so on exist, then the forms of flowers, fruits, trees, pots, and so on are not apprehended, and it is not established that they are the cause of destruction. Previously, opponents said that hammering and so on are the cause of destruction, because if those exist, then what should be destroyed is not apprehended. That reason, 'not apprehended,' is established as a reason because it is the cause of the arising of a continuum of different characteristics of pots and so on. If snow and so on exist, the forms of flowers and so on are the cause of destruction, but it is not established as a reason. If snow and so on exist, flowers and so on are not apprehended because those are the cause of flowers and so on giving rise to another continuum of different characteristics, and not the cause of the destruction of flowers and so on. In order to show another inference after that, whatever is considered the cause of destruction of something, those are not the cause of destruction of that thing, because they are caused, like the nature of fire itself. Those are the subject, the dharma to be established, the dharma of establishment, and the example, to be applied in order. For example, whatever fire is considered the cause of destruction of a certain tree, the nature of that fire is not the cause of destruction of that fire because it is caused, just as that fire is not the cause of destruction of that tree. Similarly, whatever snow, salt, hammer, and so on are considered the cause of destruction of whatever flowers, fruits, pots, and so on, those are also not the cause of destruction of their own nature because they are caused, just as those are not the cause of destruction of flowers, fruits, pots, and so on. Thus, all causes of destruction are refuted.

It should also be stated. If the words become numerous, it is also desired to completely avoid it, so do not continue, and the occasion should be examined. This refers to the fact that because of the fear that the content of the written scriptures is too numerous, the cause of destruction should not be continued from there. Origination is not without destruction, or it is not true that it exists simultaneously with destruction. In these vows, the occasion of the end of the former and the beginning of the latter should be examined, which is to explain. In this way, for the time being, the end of the negation of the third case is shown by saying that "origination is not without destruction, it is not true." Now, in order to show the negation of the fourth case, origination is not simultaneous with destruction, therefore it is said: How can origination and destruction be simultaneous? Just as birth and death are simultaneous, existence is unreasonable. It is said like this. The meaning here is the same as before, just as before, in the case of negating that destruction is not simultaneous with origination, the way of establishing it was shown, so here too, because there are loopholes in the words here, if it is reversed, it is the meaning of the words with clear meaning, for example, how can sound be permanent? Just as a pot is not permanent. Here, because the meaning of the words is clear, it can be inferred that origination is not simultaneous with destruction, because this is its cause, just as birth is not simultaneous with death, it should be reversed and combined from the previous one. Therefore, if you examine it completely in this way, then those that are simultaneous with each other, or not simultaneous with each other, are not established, origination and destruction are like this, which is a summary of the negation of the four cases mentioned earlier, and should be combined according to the situation. Because those establishments do not have other forms, in order to show that the forms of those establishments are impossible, it is said, how do those establishments exist? The meaning of the sentence "those establishments do not exist" is used to explain that the establishments of origination and destruction, apart from the negation of the four cases mentioned earlier, do not have other forms such as the fifth case, so ultimately, origination and destruction
