Therefore, here, other debaters previously composed treatises stating that formations, sentient beings, and individuals are not reasonable in samsara, nor are they reasonable in nirvana. Regarding this proposition, they establish with their own conceptualizations that it is true that formations and so on are not reasonable in nirvana, but it is not permissible that they are not reasonable in samsara. Then they say that they say this, and this should be connected. Therefore, you say that formations, whether permanent or impermanent, are not reasonable in samsara because they would become the faults of permanence and annihilation. This is because it has already been declared: formations in nirvana, in any way, are not reasonable. Therefore, here, how can it not become the fault of permanence and annihilation, and how can formations and so on also have samsara, it should be established in this way. After saying that, you Madhyamikas say: If formations revolve in samsara, if they are permanent, they do not revolve, and if they are impermanent, they also do not revolve. Because of this, formations, whether permanent or impermanent, are not reasonable in samsara because they would become the faults of permanence and annihilation. Saying this does not establish the meaning of that proposition, but rather like this: formations in nirvana, in any way, are not reasonable. Saying this is to show the establishment of the meaning of that proposition. Therefore, at this time of good explanation, how should I not become the fault of permanence and annihilation, and how can formations and so on also have samsara, it should be established in this way. Like this, because it is also said in the rational treatises that for anything to be established, if it is not established or there is doubt, it is necessary to rely on other means of establishment. In order to show that subsequent inference. In ultimate truth, only internal formations and so on have samsara, because they are related to karma and its result. Here, if there is nothing, then there is no seeing of a connection with karma and its result, like the formations of the son of a barren woman. Internal formations and so on are connected with karma and its result, therefore, by the power of the reason stated as before, only internal formations and so on have samsara in ultimate truth. After saying that, those are the subject and the dharma to be established.

I am, regarding the practice of Dharma, and examples of the side that contradicts the Dharma, and the connection of close association, and the conclusion, so connect in order. Here, like the fabrication called "son of the vulva," those that do not exist, are not related to karma and result, so those do not have samsara. But, the inner fabrications are related to karma and result, so if there is samsara, then there is also nirvana, therefore there is bondage and liberation. Ultimately, only inner things have self-nature, they say. To the opponent's reason, "because it is related to karma and result," that, First, in order to explain the definition of karma, first, karma is: oneself is well disciplined, benefiting others, the Bodhicitta, that is Dharma, that is in this life and other lives, is the seed of fruits. It is said. The summarized meaning here is that the good, non-good, and neutral actions of body, speech, and mind become the seeds of fruits in this life and other lives, these are shown to be the definition of karma. Among them, the mind that disciplines oneself well, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, and the mind that benefits others, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, and the mind of loving-kindness, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, these are good. Conversely, the mind that does not discipline oneself well, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, and the mind that does not benefit others, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, and the mind of harming others, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, these are non-good. Opposite to the definitions of good and non-good, the mind born from Vipaka, and the actions of body and speech arising from it, these are neutral. To this, the meaning of the words of the verse is connected like this: the mind that disciplines oneself well, and the mind that benefits others, and the mind of loving-kindness, whatever these are, are Dharma, are the good actions of the mind. Non-Dharma

That which matures in this life and others, and the seeds that give rise to similar fruits, desirable, pleasing, and agreeable, and that give rise to virtuous actions of body and speech. In short, it is the characteristic associated with the virtuous results of mental action. Here, in the verses, the word "mind" only indicates mental action as a mere symbol. Likewise, the actions of body and speech that are motivated by it should also be included. Therefore, those motivated by a mind that is well-disciplined, a mind that benefits others, and a mind of loving-kindness are also Dharma, that is, virtuous actions of body and speech. These Dharmas also mature in this life and others, and are the seeds of similar fruits that are lovely, desirable, and agreeable. These are the characteristics associated with the results of virtuous actions of body and speech. Conversely, a mind that is not well-disciplined, a mind that does not benefit others, and a mind of harmful intent are not Dharma, but are unwholesome mental actions. This non-Dharma matures in this life and others, and the similar fruits are unlovely, undesirable, and disagreeable, and the seeds that give rise to unwholesome actions of body and speech. In short, it is the characteristic associated with the unwholesome results of mental action. Similarly, those motivated by a mind that is not well-disciplined, a mind that does not benefit others, and a mind of harmful intent are also not Dharma, but are unwholesome actions of body and speech. These non-Dharmas also mature in this life and others, and are the seeds of fruits that are unlovely, undesirable, and disagreeable. These are the characteristics associated with the results of unwholesome actions of body and speech. Contrary to the characteristics of Dharma and non-Dharma as described above, those born from maturation, those arising from conduct, and those from crafts
