Having said, "It does not arise solely from itself, because nothing is needed," the nature of the prior cause is not completely abandoned, not ceased, and the nature of the present cause is not completely abandoned, ceased, and in the stage of the effect, there is no difference in abiding in the nature of the cause, therefore its arising is meaningless. If it is said, "Because it is admitted that the cause arises as the nature of the effect, there is no fault," then this is the word of the opponents refuting the Madhyamikas' statement that "what exists in the nature of the cause does not arise solely as the nature of the cause, because nothing is needed." Those people say that if there is no difference in existing in the stages of cause and effect, then because nothing is needed, it is also true that the nature of the cause does not arise solely, and we admit that the cause arises as the nature of the effect, because once it arises as the nature of the effect, it is impossible to have no difference at all. Your reason, "Because nothing is needed, the nature of the cause does not arise solely," that fault is not with us. After saying this, if it is said that the cause calls what has not completely abandoned the nature of the cause as the effect, then it is only a difference in name, because there is no difference, so in order to show that the previously stated fault cannot be avoided, if the nature of the cause that has not completely abandoned the nature of the cause is called the effect, then it is only a difference in name, therefore the previously stated fault cannot be avoided. If it is thought that it only arises as the nature of the effect without diminishing from the nature of the cause, then in that case, what is called the effect is only a difference in name, because there is no difference that has changed from the nature of the cause, so the fault I said earlier, "What exists in the nature of the cause does not arise solely as the nature of the cause, because nothing is needed," cannot be avoided. Now, in order to show that the second examination is unreasonable, if it is thought that completely abandoning the nature of the cause, it must abide in the nature of the effect, then completely abandoning the nature of the cause is not the cause, therefore the cause abides in the nature of the effect
