Therefore. Because it is not common and not the nature of the cause, many kinds. One. For what reason, because it produces sprouts, the seed accomplishes its own meaning. Because it accomplishes its own meaning, and as soon as the seed ceases, sprouts are produced. Because it immediately and produces the same kind. Producing equal parts, these and so on should be known as the nature of the cause. Likewise, the nature of the conditions is the opposite of that, because it does not only produce that, but also produces others. Because the common and the nature of the conditions are many kinds, it is many. For what reason, because it nourishes the continuity of other causes, it accomplishes the meaning of others, and because the conditions do not produce sprouts immediately after they cease, it is far away and also produces different kinds. Producing undiminished parts, these and so on should be known as the nature of the conditions. Should be known. The nature of non-causes and non-conditions is the opposite of those natures of causes and conditions as have been shown. Now, in this world, the way of establishing names such as causes and conditions and non-causes and non-conditions is such that if they desire it that way, if the collection of causes and conditions itself has no result, then because the causes and conditions are empty of results, in the nominal expression, those who say that they are causes and conditions will also incur the fault of being equal to those who are falsely established as non-causes and non-conditions of dissimilar or non-existent things, in order to show what should be accomplished and the Dharma of accomplishment. Causes and conditions become non-different. This means that it is said because it shows that the Dharma of causes and conditions is not the self-nature of producing results and the self-nature of being empty of results. This last verse root means that if they desire it that way, if the collection of causes and conditions itself has no result, then we Buddhists, in the conventional nominal expression, say that they are causes and conditions, and they will also incur the fault of being non-existent causes and conditions, and the Dharma to be accomplished and accomplished is the cause and the condition is the result.

Because it has been shown in order that it is not producing fruit, and the emptiness of fruit. In order to show that, here it is said, "For those who say that the fruit did not exist before, such a clear inference that is helpful to the current discussion is obvious." Here, for those such as the Vaibhashikas and Sautrantikas, who say that from the collection of seeds, etc., the fruit, i.e., sprouts, etc., are truly produced from what did not exist before, the Madhyamikas would say that because causes and conditions are empty of fruit, they are not producing fruit, then causes and conditions would also become the same as non-causes and non-conditions, there would be such a fault. Such a clear inference that is helpful to the current discussion is obvious. In order to show what is clarified by the inference that is helpful to the current discussion, it should be known that in ultimate truth, seeds, etc., causes and conditions, are actually not producing fruit, because the fruit is emptiness, just like non-causes and non-conditions. Having said that, those are the subject, the predicate to be proven, the reason, and the example, which should be applied in order. For example, those things that are falsely established as non-causes and non-conditions by different kinds or non-existent things, because they are emptiness, it should be known that in ultimate truth they are actually not producing fruit. Similarly, seeds, etc., causes and conditions, are also empty of fruit, so it should be known that in ultimate truth they are actually not producing fruit. Therefore, if seeds, etc., causes and conditions, are empty of fruit in ultimate truth, so they are actually not producing fruit, then those things that we Buddhists call causes and conditions in conventional truth would also become not causes and conditions, there would be such a fault, therefore, the view that the fruit, i.e., sprouts, etc., are produced from the collection of seeds, etc., from non-existent things is unreasonable. If it is said that the fruit is propelled by causes and conditions, because the fruit is produced from definite causes and conditions.
