Those people say that if Buddhists say, "Because their own arguments cannot be grasped," then, if they say the argument with specificity, "Because it is not a direct perception, it cannot be grasped by direct perception alone," it will also become the fault of the meaning of the argument being uncertain. In order to completely avoid that fault, here it is said, "Because their own arguments cannot be grasped." If the meaning of the argument is understood as "Because it cannot be grasped in all forms of direct perception, inference, and all valid means," then there is still the fault of the meaning not being established. For example, seeds themselves, fruits, sprouts, etc., exist in the manner of potentiality beforehand, because they can be grasped by inference. For the time being, those people say that, apart from the Samkhya school, the Madhyamika's argument "Because it cannot be grasped" is uncertain and unestablished. This is what they say. Sixty-fifth fascicle. In order to answer what they said, by explaining to refute the views of the Samkhya school and eliminate the faults of uncertainty and unestablishment of their own arguments, here, because it is only ungraspable, it must be grasped with certainty, therefore, in conventional terms, it is not uncertain for those who are located in very distant places, etc. In the ultimate truth, it is said, "Because things that are located in very distant places, etc., are not established." In this way, some of the views of the Samkhya school were previously refuted here, that is, if there are obstacles to grasping such as being very far away, very close, impaired senses, uncertain mind, subtle, obscured, overwhelmed, similar, mixed, etc., then even existing things cannot be grasped, therefore there is the fault of the argument being uncertain. In order to answer this question, it is shown that the Madhyamika's argument "Because it cannot be grasped" has no fault of uncertainty in either conventional or ultimate truth. In this regard, temporarily in conventional terms, because our argument is "Because it is only ungraspable," it must be grasped with certainty, therefore it does not distinguish between direct perception or inference.

Therefore, for the collection of seeds and so on, the fruit sprout and so on existing in the manner of potentiality should not be acknowledged. Because for it, just because of being unapprehendable, it is determined that since there is no case like apprehending the contradictory of what is unapprehendable by direct perception through inference, it is not uncertain. The Samkhya's "things exist but are invisible, because they are very far" and "because they are very near" etc. are themselves uncertain, therefore they cannot establish that my reason is uncertain. For example, although the sun and so on are located very far away, they are visible, and although smells and tastes and so on are located very near, they are also visible. Therefore, why is it that just because it is very far, or very near, just like having birds and eye medicine but being invisible, the collection of seeds and so on, the fruit sprout and so on exist but are invisible, and thus become non-existent? Or, if because it is very far, or very near, then just like the sun and so on, smells and tastes and so on exist and are visible, the collection of seeds and so on, the fruit sprout and so on should be visible, but in the case of being visible, they are invisible, therefore it is uncertain that they become non-existent, therefore, your reasons "because it is very far" and "because it is very near" etc. are uncertain, and cannot establish that my reason "because of being unapprehendable" is uncertain, therefore my reason is not uncertain. Ultimately, your reason "located very far away" etc. are not established, therefore the contradictory of my reason "because of being unapprehendable" does not exist, therefore my reason is not uncertain. The nature of happiness, suffering, and ignorance, etc., the measures of nature, are also not established, therefore the meaning of the reason is not established. Previously, other schools besides the Samkhya said other faults like this: the reason of being unapprehendable, what is its meaning? If by direct perception
