It is unreasonable, because what is said is seemingly unestablished, like this combined. For example, some who assert the former school say that sound is impermanent, because it is made. Some say that if before the sound is produced, there is a dharma that can establish the impermanence of sound, that is, the nature of being made, then there is an error in the sound that is not related to the nature of being made, therefore, the reason that it is made is not established. However, if before the sound is produced, there is no dharma that can establish the impermanence of sound, that is, the nature of being made, and then it exists later, then the meaning of the reason, because it is made, is not established. Saying such words is unreasonable, sound is impermanent, because it is made, the meaning of the reason stated by the former school is not unestablished, but because what is said is seemingly unestablished, just like this. Similarly, you use "The nature of space is earlier, space does not exist at all" etc. to refute our reason "because it has nature", wanting to prevent our reason "having nature", this statement is also inappropriate. Having said that, in order to answer what they said, the commentator said here: Nature also belongs to the category of the basis of nature with the difference of that nature and other nature etc. The birthplaces of the basis of nature, those ultimate truths of existence, are what is refuted by the ultimate truth, therefore, if the basis of nature is unreasonable, nature cannot exist, so in order to refute it, we do not make effort etc. Nature also belongs to the category of the basis of nature in the conventional truth with the difference of the basis of nature, neither that nature nor other nature etc. The basis of nature, the birthplaces such as the eye, those ultimate truths of existence, are what is refuted by our ultimate truth, therefore, if the basis of nature is unreasonable, nature cannot exist, so in order to refute the meaning of your reason "because it has nature", we do not make effort.

Oṃ ma! You say that, like this, by falsely establishing the essence and characteristics as prior and subsequent, and saying that the meaning of the reason is not established, this is not unestablished, but appears as unestablished. Regarding what you have said, the meaning of your reason does not appear as unestablished either. Listen to the reasoning here, and I will explain. Why does it not appear as unestablished? Therefore, merely by showing that prior and subsequent are impossible, it shows the negation of otherness, therefore it does not appear as unestablished. Previously, if the essence precedes the characteristic, then it would follow that there is no characteristic, etc. Merely by showing that the essence and characteristics have no prior and subsequent, it shows the negation of the Vaiseṣikas, etc., who believe that the essence and characteristics are otherness. Therefore, the meaning of your reason, because there is a characteristic, does not appear as unestablished. For example, someone says that sound is impermanent because it is produced. Some say that if there is production before the sound arises, then the sound would be confused, therefore it cannot be a reason. Or, if there is no production before the sound arises, but it exists later, then the meaning of the reason is not established. What they say is reasonable. Sound is impermanent because it is produced, this is a reason that can be understood, and it is both the nature of the word and the nature of the meaning, therefore it is not unestablished. Among them, the nature of the word refers to the fact that through the reason of the word 'because it is produced,' it can prove the wisdom of understanding that sound is impermanent, therefore it is also not unestablished. The nature of the meaning refers to the fact that even before the reason 'because it is produced' is spoken, sound has the meaning of being produced, therefore it is also not unestablished. Therefore, some say that if there is production before the sound arises, then the sound would be confused, therefore it cannot be a reason. Or, if there is no production before the sound arises, but it exists later, then the meaning of the reason is not established.
