If there is no pleasure, then there is no contact either. The uncommon causes of feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are mind and mental factors, and the causes of many dharmas are not different. The aggregates of consciousness arise appropriately from causes such as eye, form, light, space, and attention, and are mental dharmas. Many dharmas also arise in the same way with the same object, place, form, substance, and time, and should be explained appropriately. Just as there is no form without them arising, similarly, there are no feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness without eye, form, light, space, and attention. Just as there is no cause of form without form, similarly, there are no eye, form, light, space, and attention without feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness, and this should be explained appropriately. Just as in the ultimate sense, form is not other than the parts of its own aggregate, because if it is not grasped, there is no cognition of it, just like the nature of earth and so on. In this way, it is shown that in the ultimate sense, form is not other than its own causes, and similarly, here too, it should be stated that in the ultimate sense, feeling and so on are not other than their own causes. Just as form is shown to be not other than its own causes and so on, similarly, here too, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also not other than their own causes, contact, eye, form, light, space, and attention, and this should be stated. Here, the refuter and the refutation are the same as before, that is, as stated before: "If not for the cause of form, Form will not become an object. If not for what is called form, The cause of form will not appear." This is the opponent's argument and our answer: "If not for the cause of form, If form exists, then form is without cause. There will be a fault, because anything, Without a cause does not exist anywhere." And so on, in verses.

All the above-mentioned statements regarding the establishment of tenets should be applied here accordingly. Not only are the aggregates unreasonable in all aspects, but also all phenomena are shown to be similar in order because they are unreasonable in all aspects. The reason for saying "all things" is that there are no other conditioned phenomena other than the aggregates, but in order to express the refutation of their differences, it is said "establish" etc. There are no other conditioned phenomena other than the aggregates, and it has been shown that the aggregates are unreasonable in all aspects, thereby establishing that all conditioned phenomena are unreasonable in all aspects, but here it is specifically said "all things" because the teacher wants to express the refutation of those differences of the aggregates that are widely known in the world, therefore the word "all things" is established. Why is it established because it is desired to express the refutation of their differences? Because it is to refute that those completely imputed vases and cloths etc. are truly existent and different entities. If the author of the treatise refutes that the aggregates are not truly existent and different entities, then his own school and other outsiders will use completely imputed vases and cloths etc. as reasons and examples for the aggregates being truly existent, different entities, and non-different entities. In order to refute true existence and otherness, it is said that all things are unreasonable in all aspects in the same order as color is unreasonable. Just like before, here too, the words of combination should be spoken accordingly. Just like it was said before: "Without the cause of form, form will not become an object. Without the name of form, the cause of form will not appear." etc., how from the ultimate truth, form is not truly existent, because if one does not grasp its own cause, there will be no cognition of it, just like an army etc., as shown in this way, so it is here as well.

Similarly, pots and cloths, etc., are also not truly existent, because if they do not rely on their materials, such as clay and threads, etc., there would be no concept of pots and cloths, etc., just like an army, etc., which should be extensively explained. Similarly, ultimately, form is not other than its constituent parts, because if it does not rely on them, there would be no concept of it, like the nature of earth, etc., itself. Thus, just as it is shown that ultimately, form is not other than its materials, similarly, here too, it should be appropriately explained that ultimately, pots and cloths, etc., are not other than their constituent parts, because if they do not rely on clay and threads, etc., there would be no concept of pots and cloths, etc., like the nature of clay and threads, etc., themselves. Therefore, since the aggregates are not established, the meaning of the reason "included by the aggregates" itself is not established, etc., which is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. Therefore, since the aggregates are not established, the previous schools claimed that ultimately, only the sense bases exist, because they are included by the aggregates. The meaning of this reason is not established. There is also no example, how is that? For example, those things included by the aggregates of form, etc., are truly existent, this statement does not exist. This is the dissimilar example of the previous schools, here, whatever does not exist is not included by the aggregates of form, etc., like a flower in the sky. Conversely, the similar example is that the internal sense bases are included by the aggregates. For example, the ten forms are included by the form aggregate, the dharma base is included by three aggregates and one part of the form aggregate, the mind base is included by the consciousness aggregate, therefore they are truly existent, this statement does not exist. Or, the meaning of the reason itself is contradictory, because things included by the aggregates exist only nominally.
