Although it can be well established, the reason for definitely taking the number "six" is to know that, in conventional terms, there is no other inner purusha as the agent that can act on objects such as form, other than these six. The so-called "their" refers to these six faculties. "Their" should be connected to "What are their objects?" The so-called "object" refers to the realm, meaning that they have power. This is an explanation of the term "object," object is the realm, meaning that the faculties have the power to act on these realms. The so-called "to be seen, etc." refers to to be seen, to be heard, to be smelled, to be tasted, to be touched, and to be thought. The objects of these six faculties are: form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas, which correspond to to be seen, etc., respectively. The determination of the subject and object separately is also just a conventional saying, not so in the ultimate truth, because the reason only exists in the incompatible side, so it is self-contradictory. That is to say, the reason for the first two is self-contradictory. Because the reason stated by the former school is the determination of each object, and it is the result of action, just like seeing form, etc. Therefore, the faculty is the subject, and form, etc., are the determined objects, which is also just a conventional saying, not so in the ultimate truth, so the reason stated by the former school is to prove the existence of the ultimate truth, but it only exists in the incompatible side—the conventional truth, so proving the existence of the ultimate truth is self-contradictory and not established. In order to clarify how the eye, etc., should not be the subject and object in the ultimate truth, the following will be explained,

The six places, and the six objects such as form, in the occasion of showing that these six objects are not compatible with the object-possessor and the object's things. First, let's show the aspect of the eye faculty and form as the object-possessor and the object's things being incompatible. The so-called "seeing" means being able to see, which is the so-called eye faculty, which shows the characteristics of the eye sphere in the conventional truth, because the eye faculty can see form, so it is called seeing. The so-called "in its own nature" means its own essence, that is, whether the eye faculty is the self-nature of form in the ultimate truth. "It does not see it", if you ask why it does not see? "That side of the word will be revealed later", meaning that the eye faculty does not see the eye faculty itself, why? Because that aspect will be clarified by the second half of the verse. Why? "Because it does not see it", meaning that this is a recognized fact that does not need to be proved, because both the opponent and the rebuttal recognize that they cannot see themselves, this is the teacher's point of view. The word "ཉིད་" has a definite meaning. It should be understood as "not seeing ཉིད་", otherwise it will be understood as "seeing". That is to say, in the verse "It does not see it ཉིད་", the word "ཉིད་" is mentioned to emphasize the meaning of "not seeing ཉིད་". If it is understood literally as "It does not see it ཉིད་", then it will be understood as "It does not see it, then it sees other objects", which is not acceptable. If so, what have you accomplished? When you say that the eye does not see its own nature, you admit that the eye sees other things, if you say so, then the other party will ask you Madhyamikas
