In order to prevent the scattering in between, and in order to accomplish the intention of the author of the treatise, therefore, this commentary is made here, and thus the previous school of thought is placed nearby. Therefore, in the ultimate sense, the internal sources of arising should only be regarded as arising, because they are definite in their respective objects. Having said this, those are the subject, the dharma to be established, and the example of the opposite side that is not in accordance with the dharma to be established, and they are connected in order. Here, whatever does not arise does not have definiteness in its respective objects, for example, just as the sources of arising of a barren woman's son do not have definiteness in their respective objects, this is an example of the opposite side of the dharma. The internal sources of arising have such definiteness in their respective objects, just as the objects of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling, and mind are form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas respectively, this is the combination of close attainment. Therefore, as the reason stated above, the internal sources of arising should only be regarded as arising, this is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. When examining like the second one, that is to say, or because by refuting the opposite side that is not in accordance with going, the sources of arising are shown to be emptiness, therefore, the third distinction is begun, because the meaning of establishing the absence of going previously is to be shown, and in order to establish that the sources of arising mentioned in the sutras are emptiness, therefore, the third distinction is begun. Like this, the second examination that is said, when examining like that, placing the previous contradictory object nearby, it should be connected like this. At that time, placing the previous contradictory object nearby, it should be done like this, previously at the end of the second distinction of examining going, because it was said, "Therefore, the goer and the going, and the place to be gone are also not there," therefore, the proponents of going cannot bear it, therefore, the opponents say this, it should be connected like this. Therefore, it should be known that going exists, because it is the result of action, just like seeing form, etc., they say this, having said like this, those

Also, the subject, the object to be proven, the means of proof, and the example should be applied in order. For example, the eyes and so on are the result of action, so it should be known that they exist. Similarly, walking is also the result of action, so it should be known that it exists, they say. In response to what they say, here the commentary itself explains the answer to both sides: Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and mind. The objects of the six senses are seeing and so on. It says seeing and so on. "Seeing" means because of seeing. It means that there is no other person inside who is the seer, because the eye sense itself sees forms, so it should not be cherished. Otherwise, if it were said, "Because this sees," it would not have been said. The same applies to the rest, which means that for hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and mind, the ear is for hearing sounds, the nose is for smelling odors, the tongue is for tasting flavors, the body is for touching tangibles, and the mind is for thinking about dharmas. Similarly, there is no other person inside who is the hearer and so on. "Six" means that for grasping forms and so on, it is because that collection exercises the function of sense and master. It means that this is an explanation of the meaning of the word "sense," that for grasping the six objects such as forms, it is a sense, and for the object, appearance, and space, and the collection of attention related to it, in various cases, the sense has the main dominion and mastery over those remaining collections, so it is called sense. "Six" means that although the number is completely determined by merely mentioning the individual names, the reason for specifically pointing it out is to know that in terminology as well, there is no other agent that focuses on forms and so on other than these. It means: Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and mind. Because the names of the individual senses are mentioned, it is also
