It is said that it is called "going," which is contrary to the nature of the cause. "Made" is a synonym for "artificial," which means "not self-nature." In this case, removing from the inconsistent side reveals the dharma of the side, which is the meaning of the word, that is, the inconsistent side of no self-nature is self-nature. Removing from it, the dharma of the side of no self-nature, as a reason, is born from cause and condition, and it is revealed as the meaning of the word. In order to show the metaphor to understand it, for example, sound is constant. Constancy is because it is not made. Constancy has no made nature, but sound has made nature, so sound is impermanent, because it is made, just like that. Here, self-nature should not arise from causes and conditions, and the self-nature arising from causes and conditions will become made, but self-nature does not have made nature, because self-nature is not made, so it is said. Some statement theorists say that sound is constant. Some people say that sound is not constant, why? Because constancy is not made, constancy has no made nature, but sound has made nature, so sound is not the inconsistent aspect of constancy, removing from constancy.

The so-called "those" should be sequentially matched as subject, predicate to be proven, proving predicate, and example. For example, things like people transformed by illusion are not self-existent because they arise from causes and conditions. Similarly, the inner six sense bases are also not self-existent because they arise from causes and conditions. Whatever has self-existence will not change, thus it deviates from the contradictory side. The so-called "deviating from the contradictory side" means that the proposition and the aforementioned reason deviate from the contradictory side, thereby showing the necessity of existing on the inferable, existing on the similar side, and not existing on the dissimilar side. Here, some who want to refute the understanding of the meaning of words say: Illusion is due to the complete possession of mantras and medicines, from the actual existence of things such as clay, earth, grass, fruits, and leaves, it appears as images of elephants, etc. Therefore, the example has the fault of not matching the predicate to be proven. This is because the other party does not understand the meaning of the words that things arise from causes and conditions and are without self-existence. Some who want to refute the Madhyamaka school, previously the Madhyamaka school said that, in terms of ultimate truth, the inner six sense bases are not self-existent, because they arise from causes and conditions, just like things such as people, livestock, wild animals, and birds transformed by illusion. This is a statement refuting the example. They say that although illusion does not have the self-existence of elephants, etc., the tools of illusion, such as grass, do have self-existence. Therefore, you Madhyamikas use illusion to prove that things are without self-existence, and this example has the fault of not matching the predicate to be proven. In response to their statement, the commentator here says: That is unreasonable, because appearing as an elephant, it is precisely because the elephant has no self-existence that it is considered an example, not grass, etc. Moreover, grass, etc., also do not have self-existence, because their production has been prevented, and the existence of land, etc., as entities has also been prevented. Therefore, it is said that the elephant I want to prove

English

Because it appears as an elephant, the absence of the elephant's own nature is considered the example, but things that actually exist, such as grass, are not considered the example. Therefore, my establishment of the example is not unreasonable. The own nature of those magical instruments, such as grass, is also non-existent, because their arising is prevented, and the existence of things like earth as real substances is also prevented. What is said by "others" means that other opponents, previously the Madhyamikas, said that in ultimate truth, the internal sense bases do not have their own nature, because they arise from causes and conditions, just like illusory people, livestock, deer, birds, and other such things. It shows that the reason given is refuted as contradictory, uncertain, and unestablished. To show that the reason is contradictory, it is said that to whatever extent things arise from causes and conditions, all of them are the own nature of things, so the meaning of the reason is contradictory. In the world, to whatever extent things arise from causes and conditions, all of them are seen as having their own nature, so you Madhyamikas say that the internal sense bases do not have their own nature because they arise from causes and conditions, so the meaning of the reason is contradictory. To show that the reason is uncertain, it is also said to be uncertain, because some illusions and the like exist in both concordant and discordant classes. Illusions and magical instruments are similar in that they arise from causes and conditions, but illusions exist in the concordant class of things without own nature, while magical instruments also exist in the discordant class of things without own nature. Therefore, why would something become without own nature like an illusion just because it arises from causes and conditions, or would it become with own nature like magical instruments just because it arises from causes and conditions? It is uncertain. To show that the reason is unestablished, because it does not pervade all concordant classes, the meaning of the reason is also unestablished, in the sky.
