Because there is not even the slightest thought of non-emptiness, is it dependent on that? Or is it because it is eliminated that there is also no discriminating thought of emptiness? It shows such intention. As it is said in the Holy Jewel Heap Sutra: "Light Protector, emptiness is not established for the sake of destroying the person, nor is it to make emptiness by destroying the existing person-thing. Light Protector, one should rely on the emptiness of the previous extreme, the emptiness of the future extreme, and the emptiness that arises now, and one should not rely on the emptiness of the person. Light Protector, those who focus on emptiness and rely on emptiness, and who grasp at things, I say that they are degenerated and completely degenerated from this Dharma and discipline." As it is said. Similarly, in the Holy Dense Array Sutra, it is also said: "If things are empty, they will become objects to be destroyed, not destroyed. Even persons as large as Mount Meru will not be harmed by the view of self." It is like what is said. Therefore, one should not look at emptiness by eliminating the view of the person. Therefore, the previous different interpretations do not establish the meaning of the reason, which is the conclusion of the previous verse. If there is a little non-emptiness, there will also be a little emptiness. If there is no little non-emptiness, then emptiness may also exist. This verse shows that through the previous five different interpretations, the opponent claims that things are not empty in the ultimate sense, because there is an antidote. The meaning of this reason is not established in the ultimate sense, but it is contradictory in the conventional sense. Here it is said: Even if the meaning of the reason is not established and becomes contradictory in meaning, it is easy, because our intention is to speak of establishment in order to refute emptiness, and this is also refuted by you, so the desired meaning is established. In this way, the Madhyamikas show that the extreme of discriminating thought about emptiness has been refuted. Here, those who assert the existence of things become happy, and they say: The reasons we have spoken to refute emptiness

Even if it becomes contradictory, it is easy. Furthermore, we want to argue for the proof of negating emptiness, and this is also negated by you Madhyamikas, so our intention is fulfilled. They say that. In response to what they say, the commentator says: What is said here is that understanding emptiness does not make things empty, but rather, the non-self-nature of things themselves appears as non-self-nature. For example, the light of a lamp illuminates that there is no vase in the room, but it does not make it non-existent. Because without it, it would not exist, so this is an unexamined statement. Emptiness does not make existing things disappear by understanding emptiness, and if emptiness did not exist, things would not exist. It is only through understanding emptiness that the emptiness of things is realized, because recognizing that empty things do not exist does not show that the self-nature of things exists, so the other party's words are unexamined nonsense. Others say: Those who speak of emptiness, wanting to refute the words of others, rely on speaking of emptiness, and they think that if they do not understand the scriptures, emptiness does not exist, thus making a false argument, therefore, this will harm what they have promised. The sutra says: Those who thoroughly understand emptiness, they will completely see the nature of reality. And so on. And, because of not understanding the aggregates, things do not exist. Therefore, I say emptiness, unborn, and no self-nature. And so on. Because of saying this. The other party says that the Madhyamikas who speak of emptiness, wanting to refute the words of others who assert the existence of things, rely on speaking of emptiness, and they think that if they do not understand the scriptures, emptiness does not exist, thus making a false argument, therefore, this will harm what they have promised, because the scriptures say that all things are emptiness. Because everything in the world exists for the sake of the fruit, and the Madhyamikas are their own fruit
