How can it be transformed? If inherent existence exists, then transformation is unreasonable, because inherent existence does not change. Saying this, it is shown with words that can be refuted by the other party's tenets. Since reversing from the refutable words reveals the meaning of the moment, transformation is seen. Moreover, if non-inherent existence does not exist, then transformation will not occur, so this is a contradictory argument. Saying this, the transformation of things is seen. And the occurrence of transformation is also impossible if non-inherent existence does not exist. Therefore, the other debaters say that from the ultimate point of view, the inherent existence of things exists, because they transform. Therefore, the meaning of this argument is self-contradictory. Therefore, all phenomena are proven to be without inherent existence. Fifty-first chapter. Others said, the meaning of deceptive dharma is the meaning of false appearance, but not the meaning of non-existence of things. And so on, previously the Madhyamikas said that false means the emptiness of the self-nature of discrimination. Because it is a false appearance, it is a deceptive dharma, so it is emptiness of self-nature. For example, like the body of a woman conjured by a magician. In this way, from the ultimate point of view, the self-nature of things is empty, thus revealing the truth of the selflessness of all phenomena. Here, other schools say that you Madhyamikas believe that conditioned phenomena are the emptiness of the self-nature of discrimination, because they are false, so they are empty of self-nature. As an argument for this assertion, they say that because it is a false appearance, it is deceptive, therefore it is empty of self-nature. Regarding saying that the meaning of deceptive dharma is the meaning of false appearance, but not the meaning of non-existence of things, just as the non-existence of the self and what belongs to the self, but falsely appears as the self and what belongs to the self, so it is a deceptive dharma, this is true. You say that all phenomena are without inherent existence, so things do not exist, which is like a rabbit's horn, which does not exist. Therefore, the meaning of deceptive dharma is not the meaning of non-existence of things. This is explaining this point. Why is the meaning of deceptive dharma the meaning of false appearance?

If it is not the meaning of non-existence of things, then, the reason for saying "false" is that it shows that all things are without self-nature, which is selflessness. Because the word "self-nature" means "self." Because it is a deceptive dharma, the dharma to be proved by this reason is that whatever belongs to conditioned dharmas is false. The reason for saying "false" is that it shows that all things are without self-nature, and without self-nature is selflessness, because the word "self-nature" means "self." Why? This is the Madhyamika's question of why all things are without self of person. As an answer, the other party himself said the root of the verse he said before: Because it appears as change. Said this. In order to show that, it is said that "because it appears as change" is the concluding remark.
