It is reasonable to think that "it is not done by him." Because suffering itself is not a person, it is not good to say that "what is done by it is also done by another." Because the person is not one with the aggregates, the suffering done by it is done by another, which is to show the refutation of this view. Therefore, it is said, "If the other does not do it himself, how can suffering be done by the other?" etc. This means that if the other party thinks that there is a person different from the aggregates, and he has done it himself, then he is the other, so the suffering done by him can also be said to be done by the other. However, if this person different from the aggregates did not do it himself, because he does not exist, if the other does not exist, then how can he create suffering? He will not create suffering. In order to illustrate this point, the other party thinks that the other, if not done by himself, nor born by himself, but exists, then, since he has been established as the other, then what he has done should also be done by the other. However, the wise do not think that the unborn exists, therefore, how can suffering be done by the other? Because it does not exist at all. This is the meaning of this sentence. Therefore, it is said, "Suffering should not be done by oneself, nor should it be done by others." This is a summary of the previous reply from the other party, "Because the person is done by himself, so suffering is also done by himself; suffering itself is not a person, so suffering is not done by others; therefore, from the perspective of name and appearance, what is done by oneself and others has been established, so there is no fault." This is based on the nature of the person, saying that suffering is done by both. Fiftieth volume. Now, in order to achieve the third promise, the Samkhyas, from the perspective of nature and the self, expound another way to refute the suffering done by both oneself and others. Therefore, in order to explain the previous view, the Samkhyas believe that because dust dominates, the motivation for action is suffering. This is also because of what
