Then, the subsequent inference should be combined with "should not be said." Why shouldn't such an inference be said? Therefore, it is said, "Because otherness is not established in itself, and it should not be shown as not meeting." Because we Madhyamikas ourselves do not admit that fire and wood are different entities, it should not be said to infer that they are different entities. We Madhyamikas also should not say to infer non-encounter, etc., because we should not show non-encounter, non-burning, non-dying, and maintaining one's own characteristics. If others say, shouldn't we just understand these words literally, that is, "The meaning of the verse is other," "not meeting," "will not burn," "will not die," and "will maintain its own characteristics"? In order to answer the question raised by the other party, here it is explained by saying, "It is not a literal meaning either." So, what does it mean? Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, this is to show the meaning of the words that negate otherness." Those leaky words are not literal meanings, but contrary to them, they are the meaning of the words that show the negation of the otherness of fire and wood. Negating otherness should also not be shown by threats, but is known like the otherness negation of author and action. That is to say, the negation of the otherness of fire and wood cannot be proved to be non-otherness merely by the threat of leaky words, but needs to be proved by the measure of inference. Therefore, here, in order to prove that they are not otherness, the inference is like what was said before when examining the author and action: "Relying on the author, the action also relies on the author itself, and apart from relying on the author, no cause of achievement is seen." Therefore, it should be adjusted accordingly. Or, "What is together with what is not suitable as otherness," which will be explained later, so it should not be explained here. That is to say, or the negation of otherness

The inference is that it will be shown as such in the subsequent examination of encounters, so it will not be shown here now. Here it is said: If you men and women are different and do not acknowledge encounter, then fire and firewood also have no encounter, like this: If different, then no encounter; if no encounter, then no burning; if no burning, then no dying; if no dying, then abide with your own characteristics. If such faults and so on were to occur, since it is undeniable that men and women are known to encounter even though they are different in all the world, therefore, just as women and men, and men also encounter women, if fire is different from wood, it can still encounter wood. It is possible to say so. Here, the opponent's thought is this: If men and women are different and do not encounter, then from that, fire and firewood are different, and there is no encounter in encounter. If different, then no encounter; if no encounter, then no burning; if no burning, then those faults and so on would also occur. Since you cannot deny that men and women are known to encounter even though they are different in all the world, therefore, just as women and men, and men also encounter women, it is possible to say such things. Therefore, even though different, it is possible to encounter, so the fault of saying things like 'different, then no encounter' will not occur. That is what is being said. Although the word 'like' is not spoken, it should be regarded as present because it is a synonym when inferred after the word 'how'. Just as women and men, and men also encounter women, in such cases, although the author did not explicitly say the word 'like', if we infer after the word 'how' in the case of 'how women and men', the synonym of the word 'how' is 'thus'. 'Thus' and 'like that' have the same meaning, so it should be regarded as present here as well. This is a word of combining sounds. The upper half is reversed and explained.
