Having said, "When one does not look even slightly, it is not seeing." Because in the analysis of the sense bases, the act of seeing by the eye is prohibited, and in the context of the analysis of conditions and the analysis of going, the arising of that seeing is prohibited, the eye is separate from the act of seeing. Therefore, when the eye is separate from the act of seeing, when one does not look even slightly at a fixed object such as a table, it is not seeing. Therefore, how can it be reasonable to say, "Seeing sees"? How can it be reasonable to say, "Seeing sees"? It is unreasonable. The meaning of this statement is that the assertion that seeing sees exists within the category of conventional truth, but it does not exist in ultimate truth. Therefore, the statement "Seeing is not the nature of seeing" means that when one does not look even slightly, it is not seeing. How can it be reasonable to say, "Seeing sees"? Because of the reason stated above, seeing is not the nature of seeing. If one is deluded by a poorly grasped demon, is it not seeing that becomes the nature of seeing? Therefore, "Non-seeing is not seeing," because it is empty of the power of seeing, like a blind person. It is intended to be like that, having said this. Non-seeing, like a blind person, is not seeing because it is empty of the power of seeing. That is a vow. Therefore, in ultimate truth, it is not permissible to show the word 'seeing' and the word 'Buddha' from the scriptures of sound, because there is no example. This is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. Thus, seeing is not the nature of seeing, and the reason that non-seeing is not the nature of seeing is that the former proponents believe that the act of seeing by the eye exists, because it is shown that way in the scriptures of sound. Here, in the scriptures of sound, the cause of action is stated for the agent, and it is called seeing because it sees. What is shown there is like that. For example, the cause of action is stated for the agent, and in the mind

Or, just as one is called Buddha through realization or comprehension, to indicate this with the end of the treatise on sound is completely unreasonable, because in reality there is no example of "Buddha." If someone asks: Does saying "because there is no example" contradict the ending you have made? Answer: Therefore, it does not contradict the ending made either, because in reality, the Bhagavan (Sanskrit, Bhagavān, bhagavat,具 भगवन्, the one who possesses, the fortunate one) is also without self-nature. Moreover, in the "Analysis of the Tathagata," it is also said: What is the self-nature of the Tathagata? That is the self-nature of this sentient being. The Tathagata has no self-nature, and this sentient being also has no self-nature. Thus it is said. Or, through "further examination" and so on, the meaning of that verse is shown, namely: When one does not see even a little, one is not a seer. If it is said that one sees through seeing, how can that be reasonable? Here, for that which is the seer, is it said, by stating the accusative for the agent, "one becomes a seer through seeing"? Or, for that which is not the seer, is it said, by stating the accusative for the agent, "one becomes a seer through seeing"? This indicates that: If the eye is the self-nature of seeing, then in the treatise on sound, is it said, by stating the accusative for the agent, because it is established as the agent itself, "one becomes a seer through seeing"? Or, if the eye is not the self-nature of seeing, then in the treatise on sound, by stating the accusative for the agent, because it is established as the agent itself, how could it be two examinations to say "one becomes a seer through seeing"? "What will happen with that?" This is the opponent asking: What fault will there be with that? "If that is the seer, then the action is" This is saying, if you want to think like the previous examination. "What will happen with that?" If one does not see even a little, one is not a seer. Then what is it? It is said that seeing itself is the seer. When the eye does not see even a little, then it is not a seer. Then what is it like? When seeing itself is the seer. If it is determined, what will happen? Therefore, it is said that because the action of seeing arises in the eye, it is the seer. Therefore, the eye has the action of seeing.
