Thus it is taught. The third general establishment of the pledge has been explained. Now, the fourth general establishment of the pledge is to be accomplished. Therefore, it is to be stated that "it is not without a cause." Words such as "without a cause" are to be spoken. It is taught thus: Among the four general establishments of the pledge that I previously made, the first, second, and third general establishments of the pledge have been accomplished. After that, now the fourth general establishment of the pledge, that things do not arise from causelessness, is to be accomplished. Here, "now" means either now or at present. It is to be connected as "now the fourth general establishment of the pledge is to be accomplished." Therefore, it is to be stated that "it is not without a cause," and so on. Here, the negation of "not without a cause" should be regarded as the meaning of negating non-existence, because negation is the main point. In this way, by negating the net of all thoughts, it is intended to accomplish non-discriminating wisdom that possesses all objects. If one were to completely grasp it as not being a negation, then because its accomplishment is the main point, by accomplishing that phenomena are unborn, it would become separated from the extreme of action, because it shows non-arising. It is stated in the scripture that if one practices the non-arising of form, then one is not practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Here, it should be definitely grasped that things only do not arise from causelessness. If one were to grasp it otherwise, then it would only be that they do not arise from causelessness. Then what is it? Then it would definitely become that they arise from a cause. Similarly, it is only that they do not arise from causelessness. Then what is it? Then it would definitely become that they arise from having a cause and not having a cause, but that is also not accepted, because it would become separated from the extreme of action, and it should be connected as before. Causelessness is of two kinds: that which is not an entity and that which is an entity. Among these, that which is not an entity is to say that there is absolutely no entity of a cause, which is to say that in the tenets of the worldly Lokayatas, things arise from causelessness. That which is an entity is

It is said that there are other things that are different from the substance of the cause, that is, the saying of the cause is different from the established end of saying the cause such as nature (Tibetan: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད།) and power (Tibetan: དབང་ཕྱུག). Among them, first of all, it is necessary to refute the birth of substance from no cause, therefore, it is said that "no cause" is a synonym. Connect "no cause" with "is a synonym of no cause." If you ask what, that is, explain that if you ask what is not from no cause, this itself is a question sentence. As an answer to the question, the interpreter himself said: "Any thing, no matter where, the event of arising never exists." It is such a context. If you ask what is not from no cause, then from no cause, any thing, no matter where, the event of arising never exists. It is such a context. Among them, "any thing" refers to the subtle and coarse parts inside and outside. "Wherever" refers to our side and the other side. "The event of arising never exists" means that ultimately, any thing inside and outside, as well as subtle and coarse, no matter where on our side and the other side, arising does not exist at any time. "Any time" refers to any time in the past, future, and present, or any time in the situation investigated by one's own sect and other sects. "Does not exist" means that from no cause, any thing, no matter where, the event of arising never exists. It should be understood as the meaning of negating non-existence, not as understanding that negating non-arising is the meaning of existence. It is a context connected in this way. It is said that this is the previous commitment of the overall statement, in the context of the first establishment, if asked what is temporarily not born from me, that is, the event of arising never exists, etc., it is said to be connected with each one, as indicated context. Therefore, it has been shown that from no cause, any thing, no matter where, the event of arising never exists. To this, the great sage World Eye (Tibetan: འཇིག་རྟེན་མིག) is only a Samkhya.
