Extensive Explanation of the Lamp of Wisdom. Avalokiteśvara's Ascetic Practice. Extensive Explanation of the Lamp of Wisdom. Avalokiteśvara's Ascetic Practice. In Sanskrit: Prajnapradipa Tika. In Tibetan: Extensive Explanation of the Lamp of Wisdom. Volume 1. Homage to the Three Jewels. Homage to youthful Manjushri. Homage to the venerable teacher Avalokiteśvara's Ascetic Practice. Because by the Lamp of Wisdom, the Perfection of Wisdom is realized, and all arrogance is subdued, therefore, having obtained it, to the Sugatas and Bodhisattvas, having paid homage with utmost sincerity, by the power of the Guru, I will clearly explain its meaning. Because the world engages with actions or treatises along with their results, and does not engage with what is without result, therefore, in the Madhyamaka treatises, the realization of the Suchness of all dharmas is conventionally established as the result. However, in the ultimate sense, there is no conceptualization of the nature of a result, as it is said in the Sutra of the Strength of the Noble Elephant: "The realm of Nirvana is devoid of all results." Like that which was said. From realizing this Suchness, the Perfection of Wisdom will be realized. Thus, emptiness, selflessness, and the unarisen body of Nirvana will be realized. Therefore, the intelligent should understand that this treatise is endowed with the inconceivable result of Omniscience, and having become respectful, should generate faith in it. Some may say, "With what kind of characteristics did the Bhagavan realize the Suchness? If the Suchness of the treatise is without letters, then how was it shown? Why was it shown?" Having arisen with such a thought, therefore, the commentator, initially only through the gateway of praise, to that very one: "By whom the Suchness of Dharma is well-separated from conceptualization, all elaboration is pacified, and the fault of foolish blindness is destroyed, although it is not an object of words, yet by its imputation, in order to enrich all lands, I pay homage to that teaching." Thus it is said. Among these, "By whom the Suchness of Dharma is shown, I pay homage to that," is connected. Among these, what is meant by "Suchness of Dharma" is
