Etc., these sources of arising all arise conventionally, in order to benefit some beings. For example, like a vase, a vase also arises conventionally, because it can hold water, etc., thereby benefiting some beings, similarly, the internal sources of arising also arise conventionally, because they can grasp objects, etc., thereby benefiting some beings. Therefore, here it is said that even conventionally, things like Mir Mir Po are not caused by conditions such as the eyes. Therefore, the venerable Lodro's statement of contradiction also has the fault of contradicting inference. Thus, the venerable Lodro's statement of contradiction has the fault of scripture, etc., so my reason is not contradictory. If the venerable Lodro says, "Others say that your reason is contradictory, but I do not say that," even then, if others only accept that eyes, etc., and the consciousnesses of the respective faculties arise in the ultimate truth, and do not accept that they arise conventionally, then those others cannot escape the faults of contradicting their own words, contradicting inference, and contradicting the world. Because it is said, "Understand worldly matters and then argue like the world." Therefore, although it is known in the world that external and internal things arise, if others argue that external and internal things do not arise conventionally, then that itself becomes the fault of contradicting what is known in the world. Therefore, there is no opportunity for the contradiction stated by the venerable Lodro. Or, I have not admitted that even conventionally, things do not arise from others. When I do not admit that, there is no contradiction at all. Then what do you admit? From the established tenets, it says: "Whatever is dependently arisen, that is neither the same as that, nor different from that, therefore it is neither permanent nor impermanent." Just as it is admitted like this, so my reason has no opportunity for contradiction. Therefore, the venerable Lodro seems to have entered the abyss of established tenets. If it is said that because it is other, this reason is...

If it is said to the contrary, it is because it is a part of the established meaning. For example, it is like saying that sound is permanent because it is sound. This statement is another kind of reason made by those who speak of arising through the means of reason, saying that it is not established. If it is said to the contrary, it is to dispel doubts by making such a measure that those who speak of arising make another kind of reason through the means of reason, saying that it is not established. Here, "because it is different" is the subject, meaning that in the ultimate sense, the inner elements are not born from other conditions of those by the Madhyamikas because they are different. Also, in the ultimate sense, those who want to say different things, such as the eyes, etc., which accomplish the inner elements, are definitely not conditions because they are different. It is not allowed to be a reason, which is the dharma to be proven, meaning that the reason "because it is different" said by the Madhyamikas is not allowed to be born from other conditions of those, and it is also not allowed to say that the different is definitely not a condition, which is the subsequent practice. "Because it is a part of the established meaning" is the nature of the dharma. "Because it is a part of the established meaning," the established is what the Madhyamikas say that the inner elements are not born from other conditions of those, and those who want to say different things, such as the eyes, etc., which accomplish the inner elements, are definitely not conditions. One part of that meaning is the other conditions of those, and the meaning of the different being not a condition, one part of that is "because it is different," which is also one part of the meaning of being born from other conditions of those, and it is also "because it is different." One part of the meaning that the different is definitely not a condition is also "because it is different." It is like saying that sound is permanent because it is sound.

It is like an example: Here, for the collection of meanings of the proposition, three types of unreasonable reasons are established. For example, "sound is permanent, because it is sound," that is one part of the meaning of the proposition of the dharma-nature. Thus, sound itself is taken as one side of the dharma-nature, and sound itself is also taken as the dharma to be established, therefore, that is also an unreasonable reason. For example, "sound is permanent, because it is permanent," that is one part of the meaning to be established. Thus, permanence itself is taken as one side to be established, and permanence itself is also taken as the dharma to be established, therefore, that is also an unreasonable reason. For example, "sound is permanent, because sound is permanent," that is the side of the combination of dharma and dharma-nature, which is one part of the meaning. Thus, "sound is permanent" is called one side of the combination of dharma and dharma-nature, and "sound is permanent" is called that itself, which is the combination of dharma and dharma-nature, and it is also taken as the dharma to be established, therefore, that is also an unreasonable reason. Like that example, here, your reasons of the Madhyamikas, are not produced from other causes, because they are other, and, others are certainly not causes, because they are other, that is also one part of the meaning of the proposition, therefore it is an unreasonable reason, if you say so, it means that the producers, with the illusion of the intelligent, explain the other reason itself, say it is unestablished, and say so. In response to that saying, here it is explained: that is not good, for example, the sound of poetry is impermanent, because it is sound, like the sound of a big drum, with that kind of one part of the meaning of the proposition, seeing that it is established as the reason itself, it is said that the reason is uncertain itself. By this, it shows that the producers, with the illusion of the intelligent, explain the other reason itself, saying that it is unestablished, that is not so. Among them, that is not good, that is, the producers, with the illusion of the intelligent, the other reason of the Madhyamikas.
