If it is said that because the speaker is the cause, the speaker speaks words, that is also not acceptable. Because it is said, "Where is there before speaking? What will speak what?" Since this is the case, how can it be said that the speaker speaks words, and it is unreasonable to do things to one's own nature? Here, the Sautrāntika school, in order to explain the purpose of the speaker speaking words, is to do things that are in accordance with actions, so they said, "Because of this," and so on. Here, for "the cause of desire," desire is the desire to do. Desire itself is the cause, so it is the cause of desire. What is the cause of it? It is diligence, therefore it is said, "Diligence arising from the cause of desire," diligence is the characteristic of movement. Because diligence produces place and action, it is said, "Place and action produced by diligence." From the cause of place and action, the collection of verbal fabrications arises, namely letters, speech, and words, which is connected to speaking words. Among them, the collection of verbal fabrications is the collection of letters, speech, and words, which is what is meant by speaking words. Letters are a, etc. Speech is the collection of letters, such as reciting Devadatta, etc. Words are the collection of speech, such as reciting Devadatta makes a pot, etc. If it is said, how can the collection of verbal fabrications, namely letters, speech, and words, arise from the cause of place? For example, the eight places of letters that are spoken of: chest, throat, head, and, root of the tongue, teeth, and nose, palate, and likewise the two lips. If it is said, how can the collection of verbal fabrications, namely letters, speech, and words, arise from the cause of action? For example, what is said: touch and slight touch, narrow and wide, are the actions of the palate, etc., that are completely produced by diligence. The collection of verbal fabrications is not different in nature from the speaker, because the cause of speaking, the speaker, is considered to be the author of speaking. The collection of verbal fabrications is also different in nature from the previous moment.

Yes. Because the previous moment that is not the speaker himself is different in nature from the final moment that is the speaker himself. By what distinction is the collection of verbal fabrications called a speaker? Because the collection of verbal fabrications has the distinction of speaking, that person is referred to as a speaker. The term "arising" means that the collection of verbal fabrications arises from the place produced by the effort arising from the cause of desire and the cause of action. If it is said that its cause is the speaker, so the speaker speaks words, the Sutra masters say: The collection of verbal fabrications arises from the place produced by the effort arising from the cause of desire and the cause of action, and the cause of verbal fabrication is the speaker, so the cause of speaking, the speaker himself is the agent of speaking, because our Madhyamaka's reason is that it has action, so whatever has action, that is not the agent, this itself is contradictory. It is not right for the Sutra masters to say that. Why? Because it is said: Because there is no speaking before, who will speak what? Previously, because there is no going before, who will go where? Because of this, there is no goer before going, and going is different from the nature of the goer himself, this is known to the world. By what going does it appear as a goer? Going is not his going. Just as it was said in the case of reality, so it is here as well. Because there is no speaking before, who will speak what? Because of this, there is no speaker before speaking, and speaking is different from the nature of the speaker himself, this is known to the world. By what speaking does it appear as a speaker? The speaker is not his speaking. It should be applied in the case of metaphor as well. Therefore, it also answers the question of the cutter being the tree cutter. It means that by showing the reason that the collection of speakers cannot speak, it also answers that it is unreasonable for the cutter to cut the tree. It shows like this: Whose side
