Because there is no other way to go, it is like not returning from stopping there. Because there is no other way to stop, it is also the same that stopping will not return from there, it should be understood in this way. Similarly, for the remaining situations, various appropriate inferences should be made. That is, one who is not stopping will not walk, because he is separated from stopping, just like another who is not a stopper who has lost his walking. One who is both a stopper and not a stopper will not walk, because it is impossible, like the example of a barren woman's son. For the one who has not stopped, there is no entry into stopping, because stopping has not begun. For example, like another path where stopping has not begun. For the one who is stopping, there is also no entry into stopping, because there is no stopping other than stopping and not stopping. For example, like a flower in the sky. For the one who has not stopped, stopping does not return, because there is no stopping. For example, like another situation where stopping is lost. Stopping does not return from stopping, because it does not exist. For example, like from the city of Gandharvas, stopping does not return, various appropriate inferences should be made. Therefore, in this way, stopping is not established, and there is no escape from the faults mentioned above, which is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. Because there is stopping that is inconsistent with walking, it is not established. The fault of the meaning of the argument not being established, there is no escape from the faults mentioned earlier, which is a synonym for saying that walking is not established. Here someone says, you say that there is no walker and no walking, therefore it will cause damage contrary to common sense, because you deny the common saying in the world "Caitra walks, Maitra walks". For example, just like the moon with a rabbit is commonly said in the world, you deny the moon itself. Here, the proponent of walking refutes: The Madhyamikas deny common sense, therefore it will cause damage contrary to common sense, and gives the example of walking. In order to answer what they said, here the commentator himself says: Here, what is the meaning of the argument? Is it because it denies common sense? Or

It is said, "To eliminate the fame of the treatises," and so on. "What will happen then?" is the question asked by the opponent. "If it is said to be for the sake of eliminating worldly fame," means if the opponent says: Because the Madhyamikas eliminate worldly fame, it will become a harm to fame. As for "for the sake of eliminating worldly fame," there are two kinds of world: one is the characteristic of fame that is not accepted by cowherd women and others, which is the heretics; the other is what is accepted by the heretics. Among them, if it is said that it becomes a harm to fame because it eliminates the characteristic of fame that is not accepted by cowherd women and others, then the meaning of the reason stated by the goers does not hold. Why? Because the Madhyamikas only particularly accept the distinction of the vow "in the ultimate truth," and they have not abandoned the worldly term of the goer. Because the Madhyamikas have accepted the special vow that "in the ultimate truth, there are goers and non-goers," they have not abandoned the term of the characteristic of fame that is not accepted by cowherd women and others. Therefore, the meaning of the reason stated by the goers does not hold. However, if it is said that it becomes a harm to fame because it eliminates the world accepted by the heretics, then because it eliminates it, there is no harm to fame in the world. If it becomes a fault in the aspect of eliminating the fame of the heretics' treatises, then the Buddhists should not refute the chief and the agents of things, such as the Samkhyas, and the existence of the person, etc.; nor should the Samkhyas and others who assert the self refute the non-self of the Buddhists, etc. In that case, the terms of valid cognition and object of valid cognition will also be cut off, therefore, eliminating the world accepted by the heretics will not become a harm to fame. If it is said that it is for the sake of eliminating the fame of one's own treatises
