It should be known that this is because pottery is not made while walking. However, the potter himself sometimes stands up for things like grass, mud, etc., because the state of the power of the three times, such as walking, exists, therefore, for the one who stays, there is only the saying of "walking," so the one who stays also becomes the one who walks, there is no fault. This is what is said. In order to answer those words that were said, the explanation here itself admits the approximate imputation, because what was admitted has been lost, so just like before, there is the fault of reason and example, therefore there will be a fallacy. The potter is actually the one who stays, this is because pottery is made by staying. The walker himself is admitted in the manner of approximate imputation, because the real walker is abandoned, so what was admitted has been lost. Therefore, just like before, there will be the fault of reason and example, walking exists, this is only a promise. This is the conclusion. Or, there is another way to refute, through the saying "the opposite of walking is staying," then, is this opposite transformed from walking, or from what has been walked, or from what has not been walked? From any of these ways, staying is unreasonable. Therefore, for the staying here, if we examine whether it is transformed from what has been walked, or from what has not been walked, or from walking, then, for this, Walking will not become staying, Neither what has been walked nor what has not been walked. Etc. is said. Walking will not become staying, because the inference has been shown before, for the state of having walking, staying is unreasonable. That is to say, there is no staying in walking, because it has already entered walking. For example, just like other (things) that have not lost walking, because the inference has been shown before, so walking is connected with the state of walking, staying is unreasonable. If it is said that it can be established from what has been walked, then it should not be established from the one who has walked, What has been walked has no walking, Because there is no transformation of walking. That is to say, if it is said that staying can be established from what has been walked, then staying should not be established from what has been walked, because what has been walked has no walking. Like this, the transformation of walking is

If there is staying, then going does not exist in what has passed. If there is no going, then there is no returning of going. If there is no returning of going, then there is no staying. If one thinks that staying can be established from what has not passed, that is also unreasonable, because there can be no returning without going. Therefore, staying does not occur from what has not passed. This is what is said: If the returning of going is staying, then going does not exist in what has not passed. If there is no going, then there is no returning of going. If there is no returning of going, then there is no staying. Therefore, staying does not occur from what has not passed, that is the conclusion of this statement. Thus, saying "the meaning of the argument is not established" and so on, is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. Thus, the argument of those who assert going is not established because there is inconsistency. This is because, since there is no staying, going itself is not inconsistent. There is also no subsequent going, because it is not admitted that light and darkness are inconsistent in the ultimate sense. For those who assert going, there is also no subsequent going with a similar example, because the Madhyamikas admit that light and darkness are inconsistent in the ultimate sense. Or, it can also be said to be a contradiction in meaning. If those who assert going establish going in the conventional realm with the argument that "the inconsistency of going is staying," then this contradicts establishing going in the ultimate sense. Some say, "What exists is only staying, because there is inconsistency, because there is fabrication, because opposite things arise from that." To those people, it should be said: Going and entering, and returning, are also the same as going. And so on, those who assert going say that staying is the only existing thing, because there is the inconsistency of staying—going. Some say that staying is the only existing thing, because there is the fabrication of staying—entering into preparing beds and so on. Some say that staying is the only existing thing, because from staying arises the thing called going.
