I do not agree that there is going in walking because it conforms to this. If this is similar to tying up a horse, what is it like? What is walking? Is it abandoning shaking? Where is the shaking? In walking? Because nothing is specifically excluded, this shows: I asked you what walking is, and you said: Where is the shaking? I asked where the shaking is, and you said: In walking. Therefore, the self-nature of walking is not specifically excluded, and the self-nature of going is not specifically excluded, so there is neither walking nor going, therefore, how can it be reasonable for there to be going in walking? When going does not exist, walking cannot exist either. It should be combined in this way. If one acknowledges walking, which has been known in conventional terms since beginningless time, and believes that it has ultimate going, then, if the opponent says this: From a long time since beginningless time, in the conventional name, even walking known to small people such as cowherds, is acknowledged as existing without being excluded as inconceivable, and believes that it has ultimate going, then, this will not be similar to tying up a horse. The answer to saying that is that even so, it only has one function of going, which is the power closely connected to the word walking, therefore, there is going in walking, what other going is there? This shows that walking, which is said in the world, is also unreasonable, therefore it does not have ultimate going. This shows: The function of going, for the goer and going, and walking, etc., generally there is only one, that is closely connected to the word walking, and there the power is completely exhausted, so there is no other function of going other than that, because there is no going, so there is going in walking, what other going is there? There is none. To this, the opponent believes that the internal objects are all produced, because they are named with their respective objects.

The reason for saying "because that is not established, because the meaning of the argument is not established" is that the meaning of the argument is not established. The example is also not established, because in the ultimate sense, Deva-datta is not established. This is called the conclusion and the result of valid cognition. The Madhyamikas say: For a while, there is no going in what has gone, and there is no going in what has not gone. Apart from what has gone and what has not gone, one cannot know going. How can it be reasonable for going to exist in going? When there is no going, going is not reasonable. With such reasoning established, when the opponent establishes the prior thesis, he says that internal things are only produced, because they are named as having objects. For this, whatever is not produced is not named as having objects, just as the son of a barren woman does not act as going. Deva-datta and Vishnu's friend are not like that, not acting as going, therefore internal things are only produced. Whatever is said in this way has shown that its thesis, property of the thesis, and example are all not established. If it is said that the action of going is not referring to pervading, but like this, we express it with the sound of going, therefore it exists, so the meaning of the argument is not not established. This is how it is shown: If those who speak of going say this, we, from beginningless time, the going that is famous in name

Thus it is said. To say that in whatever's going there is movement, on that side, means that from whatever's beginningless, in name it is called going, acknowledging that there is the act of going, on that side. Although there is movement in movement, it means that whatever the act of going is, it is expressed in the word 'going,' and that itself is going, so although there is going. In going, there is no movement, it will become a fault, which means on the path of going, there is no movement, it will become a fault. Why is that? Because, because what is called 'going,' on that the act of going is not completely fulfilled, not entered, but can be comprehended and known, because of this, it shows the reason why there is no movement in going. Because those who speak of going say, the act of going is not completely fulfilled on what is called 'going,' because of this, in going, it will become the fault of no movement. The act of going is not closely connected with the path called 'going,' not completely fulfilled there, not entered, but can be comprehended and known, and completely determined, so in going there is no movement, this is the conclusion. That is not allowed, which means in going, it will become the fault of no movement, that is not allowed by the other party. Then how does the other party think? Saying that because they think going is related to movement, because if there is no act of going, it will not become going, therefore, the other party thinks that going is related to the act of going. In this way, the other party thinks that going is related to movement, what will happen? Therefore, it is said, because the act of going has already completed its meaning, because it is thought that going is related to movement, therefore, the unique act of going has been closely connected with what is called 'going,' and has completed its meaning, so there is no action for going. In this way, because the act of going has already completed its meaning. How is it that going has no action? Therefore, other going without going is unreasonable, saying
