Therefore, because it does not show the nature of non-cause, after answering in this way, by establishing the latter aspect, it shows the refutation of cause. Because it is established as non-cause by that reasoning, the causes such as the eye, the bright and clear ones, etc., become the very nature of non-cause, so how could they become the cause of producing results? Thus, it is shown to refute the meaning of non-existence. In order to emphasize that establishment of the latter aspect, those that are not causes will not become the nature of causes, that is the meaning of the words, it is said. Because it is established as non-cause, the causes such as the eye, the bright and clear ones, etc., become the very nature of non-cause, so those non-causes will not become the nature of the cause of producing results, that is the meaning of the words. The meaning of this second division of reasoning is that. Or, as has been shown, the arising of results, both existent and non-existent, is bestowed according to the manner, therefore, because there is no result: How can a non-cause become a cause? This is what is shown by these words. Or, how can a non-cause become a cause? The meaning of this verse is explained in this way. That I have previously bestowed in various ways the arising of results, both existent and non-existent, in the manner of ultimate truth. Because there is no result in ultimate truth, the causes, etc., are also not of the nature of cause, so how could they become the cause of producing results in ultimate truth? Certainly not. Here, the causes, etc., are established as the nature of cause through the door of producing results. As has been shown before, the arising of results, both existent and non-existent, has been bestowed, therefore, because there is no result, the bright and clear causes, etc., those that are not of the nature of cause, how could they become the cause of producing results in ultimate truth? Certainly not. In order to show that very meaning, those causes that are not of that nature, those that are unreasonable, how could they become causes? Certainly not, they are only not, that is the meaning of the words, it is said. Previously, after making the division of reasoning, at that time, it was in order to refute those who assert that there is a nature of non-cause, how can a non-cause

It is said thus. Now here, because the arising of having and not having a result has been cut off, since there is no result, the conditions are not conditions. If they are not conditions, how could they become the conditions for producing a result? They will not become so. In order to show this, since there is no result, how could non-conditions become conditions? It is said thus. The so-called "conditions that are not of that nature" refer to conditions that are not of the nature of conditions, such as sparks and so on. The so-called "those that are not reasonable" refer to the conditions that do not have the reasonableness of producing a result, which is a synonym for non-conditions. The so-called "how could they become conditions?" is a negation of how those conditions that are not of that nature, those that are not reasonable, could become conditions. The meaning of the phrase "only they do not become" is to show that those conditions that are not of that nature, those that are not reasonable, only do not become conditions. The meaning of that verse is a synonym for that. The so-called "because the results of those that have the cause of entering their wisdom and sound are only non-existent," means that the venerable one thinks that because the results of those that have the cause of entering the wisdom of conditions and the cause of entering the sound of conditions are only non-existent, how could the conditions that are not of the nature of conditions, those that do not have the reasonableness of producing a result, become conditions? The so-called "their wisdom" refers to the wisdom of conditions, that is, the wisdom that thinks, "these are conditions." The so-called "their sound" also refers to the sound of conditions, that is, the sound that says, "these are conditions." The so-called "entering their wisdom and sound" refers to the arising of the wisdom and sound of conditions. The so-called "having a cause" means that the cause of entering the wisdom and sound of conditions is the arising of a result, because through the arising of a result, there will be the wisdom that thinks, "these are conditions," and the sound that says, "these are conditions." The so-called "those conditions that have that cause, those are said to have a cause" refers to those conditions. The so-called "because the results of those are only non-existent, it is thought thus," means that because the arising of the results of those conditions is only non-existent, the conditions of
