Just as those things that truly exist, the internal objects, such as the eyes, etc., are also produced from factors such as semen and blood. Therefore, the internal objects, such as the eyes, etc., and the factors such as semen and blood, are also truly existent. The phrase "because they are produced from those" is synonymous with "because they are transformed from those." The phrase "because they are produced from those factors" means "because they are transformed from those factors." Why is production called transformation? Because it is said that "produced from transformation." For example, just as it is said that a vase is produced from clay. Because grammatically it is said that "produced from transformation." For example, just as a vase is transformed from clay, it is said to be produced from clay, the internal objects such as the eyes are transformed from factors such as semen and blood, and it can also be said to be produced from those factors. They will say that. In response to what they say, the commentator himself says here, "what is said here," the commentator refutes the previous view with this verse. If the result is produced from factors, then is it transformed from factors? It means that the results, such as the eyes, etc., are produced from factors such as semen and blood, then are they transformed from factors such as semen and blood? This is a synonym. Factors are not produced from themselves. It is not the self-nature of factors, this is a synonym. It means that factors, such as semen and blood, etc., are not produced from themselves. The word "self" refers to the factors themselves, factors are not produced from themselves. To illustrate this, it is said, "It is not the self-nature of factors, this is a synonym." It means that factors are not the self-nature of factors, this is a synonym. Why is production called self-nature? Because it is said that "produced from self-nature." For example, just as the heart of a Brahmin is produced from Mir. Previously, "produced" was said to mean transformation. Here, the meaning of "produced"

The term "nature" should be regarded as meaning essence. Because grammarians say that it also arises as the meaning of essence. For example, it is like saying that the essence of a Brahmin's marrow is similar to that of ghee, and that it arises from ghee. It is not that its marrow has the shape of ghee. Rather, it is like saying that the Brahmin's marrow arises from ghee because it is quickly digested and conforms to the nature and properties of ghee. Similarly, conditions such as semen and blood are not produced from themselves, because conditions are not the essence of conditions. How conditions are not the essence of conditions, as has already been explained. This means that how conditions such as causes are not the essence of conditions, as was previously refuted in the very beginning by vast inference, the essence of the assembled individual conditions. Therefore, it is said: "What fruit is not self-produced, how does it arise from conditions?" This means that from conditions such as semen and blood that are not self-produced, how can you say that the fruits such as eyes that arise from them are produced from conditions? You cannot. To show that meaning, it is said that the meaning of the statement "in the ultimate sense, the fruit does not arise from conditions." This means that in the ultimate sense, fruits such as eyes are not produced from conditions such as semen and blood, which is the meaning of that verse. To show the knowledge that makes that meaning clear, it is explained. For example, it is like saying, "He is Bharata, practicing celibacy from youth," and then saying, "How is Bharata his son?" This means that if someone says, "He is Bharata, practicing celibacy from youth, and his son is Bharata," another person will say, "If he is Bharata, practicing celibacy from youth, how is Bharata his son?" It becomes like that. This shows that, for example, just as he is Bharata, practicing celibacy from youth, therefore it is denied that Bharata is his son.

It should be known that the conditions are not the very nature of the conditions, but they also bestow the fruit produced by them, that is, arising from those conditions, and transforming from those conditions. The lump of clay transformed by the illusionist, the vase born from the emptiness of the nature of that clay, even in the words of the wise, is difficult to understand as transformed from that clay. This shows that, just as in our view, all the real things of causes such as clay, and all the real things of effects such as vases, are born from causes and conditions, so they are empty of nature. Therefore, you consider the conditions of internal things to be truly existent, because they arise from those conditions, like a vase. If you say so, for example, a vase arises from conditions such as clay, so the conditions of the vase such as clay are truly existent, similarly, internal things such as eyes also arise from conditions such as semen and blood, so the conditions of internal things such as eyes, such as semen and blood, are also truly existent. If you say so, then the simile of the vase is like an illusion, neither can it be established that the conditions have self-nature, nor can it be established that they arise from them. For what reason is this so? Therefore, it does not arise from conditions, therefore, the fruit does not arise from conditions. Therefore, it is said that there is no simile, because the law to be established and the law to be established are not complete. As the reason mentioned above, therefore, like a vase, taking a simile from a vase is not established. Why? Because the law to be established in the vase, that is, the conditions are considered to be truly existent, and the law to be established, that is, arising from those conditions, these two are not complete. Therefore, just like before, the meaning of the reason either does not hold, or becomes contradictory in meaning. If the reason that arises from those conditions is said to be true, then the meaning does not hold.
