Therefore, the fault of taking examples from Nirvana to reverse one's own sect is the same as before. Just as the example of rabbit horns and the example of Nirvana could not be established in the ultimate sense before, so the fault of the example is the same as before. It is stated thus: Nirvana cannot be established in the ultimate sense either. As it says in the chapter of Subhuti in the Holy Perfection of Wisdom Sutra: 'Son of the gods, if there were a dharma that was even more excellent than Nirvana, that would also be like an illusion.' Therefore, it becomes the fault of having no example for the thesis, so that is also not right. Here, others say this: If there is no Nirvana in the ultimate sense, then how is Nirvana truly praised with qualities such as peace and having become peaceful, and without death, without old age, and without decay? To answer this question raised from the previous debate, here, by explaining, it is shown that because conditioned phenomena have faults such as impermanence, attachment is removed from the faults, and Nirvana is shown as peace in order to generate a close desire for it, which also belongs to conventional truth, but it is not the case that it exists in the ultimate sense. Here, 'conditioned phenomena' is the basis of distinction, and 'faults such as impermanence' is its distinction. Among them, 'conditioned phenomena' refers to all dharmas that are included by karma and afflictions and the defilement of birth. 'Impermanence' refers to being separated from life and so on. The word 'etc.' includes other faults of samsara such as suffering, impurity, separation from the beloved, encountering the unloved, and not obtaining what is desired. 'Defiled by faults' means being defiled by the faults of samsara such as impermanence. 'Removing attachment from being defiled by faults such as impermanence of conditioned phenomena' means that for those who are particularly attached, by showing the faults of samsara, they are made to arise from it with aversion. 'In order to generate a close desire for the qualities of etc.' means

The reason for saying "return" is that those in samsara are completely liberated from nirvana, which possesses extremely excellent qualities. It is for the sake of desiring nirvana, for the sake of approaching that nirvana. The manifestation of nirvana as peaceful also belongs to conventional truth, but in reality, it does not exist. Nirvana is peace, the transformation of peace, immortality, non-aging, non-decay, and so on. The existence of nirvana, which is perfectly accumulated with these qualities, also belongs to conventional truth, but in reality, that nirvana does not exist. Here, others say that if nirvana is actually like an illusion and does not exist, then how can it be indicated by qualities such as peace? For example, just as the son of a barren woman does not exist, it is impossible to indicate him with qualities such as white and blue. In order to answer this previous view raised from them, the explanation is being made here. The Bhagavan fabricated through conceptualization, in order to truly relieve those trainable beings who do not believe in the profound Dharma, praised nirvana with qualities such as peace, and this is also because he acknowledged conventional truth. Thus and so forth was said. Among them, "Bhagavan" indicates the source of reliable scriptural authority. "Fabricated through conceptualization" means fabricating words that are completely deluded by the knowledge of conventional conceptualization. "Trainable beings who do not believe in the profound Dharma" refers to those trainable beings who do not believe in the profound Dharma and have not generated faith. "Truly relieve" is for the sake of touching happiness. "With qualities such as peace" refers to qualities such as peace, the transformation of peace, immortality, non-aging, non-decay, and so on. "Nirvana" means the cessation of all afflictions and knowing non-arising.
