It is said to be "also." Among them, "what are they" refers to those who consider the person to be real, believing that the nature of the person is unique, and that it is established as many due to the difference in the cause of things. When they distinguish in this way, they say, "Our self is unique." This means that, in the view of those who consider the person to be real, the so-called "our person" is unique in nature in the ultimate sense. They are so attached to the unique nature. What is it like? Just as space is established as different from bottles, etc., it is said to be established as many. This means that the unique self is established as many due to the difference in the cause of things, which is to cling to the difference from the perspective of name. The "that" refers to the unique self. "Just as space is established as different from bottles, etc." means that, for example, space is unique, but due to the difference in causes such as bottles, copper, pottery, balls, basins, pools, jars, etc., the space of each of them is established as different. "Established as many" means that our self is also unique, but it is established as many due to the difference in the cause of things. Therefore, it is said, "Because there is no metaphor," meaning that since our self is also unique, it is only established as many due to the difference in the cause of things, and the self is unique in nature in the ultimate sense. Therefore, your Madhyamaka's metaphor, such as "Devadatta's self is not the cause of Devadatta's body and senses, because it is the self, like the self of offering"; or "The bound self is not the cause of all lands, because it is the self, like the liberated self," because there are not these two metaphors mentioned. "There is also no harm of inference" means that we do not have the harm of your inference, such as "Devadatta's self is not the cause of Devadatta's body and senses, because it is the self."

Because it is "I." For example, like the master of offerings, that is also not there. Like this, in order to establish "I" itself, one cannot use "I" itself as an example. Because the master of Deva-given and the master of offerings, like the space of a pot and a copper bowl, the essence is one. If one says, it will also not become the fault of contradicting the vow, then, for us, our own vow, that the bound "I" is the cause of all things, will also not become the fault of contradicting this. Like this, by inferring that the liberated "I" is not the cause of all things, thereby excluding it, therefore, the bound "I" is the cause of all things, the self-nature of establishing this dharma is not clear. Because the bound "I" and the liberated "I" are also like the space of a pot and a copper bowl, the essence is one. If one says so. In response to that saying, here the commentator himself says: That is not good, because space is unborn, so like a flower of space, it is only that there is no thing itself. Establishing oneness is only words. Moreover, in name, there is also no inference that can show that the generally accepted "I" is one itself. Thus it is said. Therefore, other people who think that the person is the cause, in order to establish that "I" is the only one, the example of space that is accepted is also not valid. Because space is unborn, so like a flower of space, it is only that there is no thing itself. Saying that space is established as one itself is only words. Saying that "I" is the only one is also not valid. Because in the conventional name, the word "I," which Buddhists and outsiders generally accept, for this, people who think that the person is the cause, the "I" of Deva-given and offerings, and the bound and liberated "I" are one itself, there is no inference that can show it. Thus it shows. "For this, that is not good," that is, other people who think that the person is the cause, the example they give to establish that "I" is the only one, saying that space is established as one itself, and the meaning represented by that example, "I" is the only one,

It explains the meaning called "Nano." If you say, "Then, how is space established as one?" Isn't that good? Therefore, space is unborn, like a sky flower, because it is only without substance, so establishing it as one is just words. It is said like this. Space is unborn, so it has no substance. For example, a sky flower is unborn, so it has no substance, so it is not established as one. Similarly, space is also unborn, so it has no substance, so it is not established as one. Therefore, saying "space is established as one" is not good, because it is just words. Because space is not established as one, you have no example. This shows that the self of Devadatta and the self of sacrifice, and the self of bondage and the self of liberation are not established as one. I admit that the example of the self of Devadatta is different from the self of sacrifice, so I am not without an example. You also have no harm of inference. I also admit that the example of the self of bondage is different from the self of liberation, so I am not without an example. You will also not become the fault of violating your own oath. If you say, "How is the self only one?" Isn't that good? Therefore, in terms of convention, there is no inference that shows the generally accepted self as one. It is said like this. Even in conventional terms, the "self" that is generally accepted by Buddhists and non-Buddhists, for those who consider the person to be permanent, there is no inference that shows the self of Devadatta, the self of sacrifice, and the self of bondage and liberation as one. For example, I admit that in conventional terms, the so-called "self" is the nature of the five aggregates, but you have no inference to show that it is one. If you vow to be one, it will become a harm to the world's acceptance. For example, in the world, Devadatta and sacrifice, Brahmins and Chandalas, etc.
