The cause that makes it accomplished is the common karma of those sentient beings, whether it is good or non-good. That karma is called Isvara Because it produces abiding and so on. Connect it like this, what is called abiding is the characteristic of the world abiding for twenty intermediate kalpas. What is called arising is the characteristic of the world forming from the initial arising of the wind mandala to the arising of sentient hells. What is called destruction is like this: when the kalpa of destruction arises, because there are no sentient hells and so on, the vessel world is destroyed. What is called happiness is the happiness of gods and humans. What is called suffering is the suffering of samsara. What is called upward growth is the upward growth of the lifespan of beings from ten years to eighty thousand years. What is called downward decrease is the downward decrease of the lifespan of beings from immeasurable years to ten years in the first kalpa. What is called producing is because karma produces the aforementioned abiding of the world and so on. If asked: Is the karma that is the cause of the various worlds included in sentient beings and vessels Isvara? Answer: Yes. Saying this is, on the side of convention, establishing what has already been established. Saying this is, like this, because it is the agent here, the independence of karma is also established for Buddhists. However, it is not in the ultimate sense, it is said after deliberation, for Buddhists, on the side of convention, the karma that is the cause of the various worlds included in sentient beings and vessels is established as Isvara, but it is not in the ultimate sense, because in the ultimate sense, the arising of karma is not accepted either. Likewise, in the Sutra of the Noble Jewel Heap, it is said: Whoever has no karma and no result of karma is of the lineage of the noble ones, and whatever is the lineage of the noble ones, that lineage does not do the karma of the body, does not do the karma of speech, and does not do the karma of mind. It is like what was said. Others also say, because I like Buddhism, I call the name of karma Isvara

It is not possible to say "it is so," because one does not want it to be caused by other Ishvara. Furthermore, since you do not fully understand that the nature of karma and afflictions from beginningless time, as you have said, is the cause, you have assumed from the beginning of the kalpa that Ishvara is the creator of the three realms. You believe that "I" is uncreated, therefore Ishvara is not the creator of all. That "I" also possesses qualities such as intelligence, happiness, suffering, desire, hatred, dharma, and non-dharma. The body with which Ishvara experiences happiness and suffering is also manifestly accomplished by the cause of dharma and non-dharma. Therefore, just as the bodies of Ishvara and "I" arise from the cause of dharma and non-dharma, so too should the bodies of all sentient beings at the beginning of the kalpa arise from the previously created cause of dharma and non-dharma, because it is the cause of the arising of happiness and suffering, just like the bodies of sentient beings now. Furthermore, regarding the eight qualities of Ishvara that you have spoken of, are they obtained through merit or through lack of merit? If they are obtained through merit, then because they depend on merit, Ishvara is not the cause of the arising of the three realms, just like other sentient beings who possess merit. If you believe that they are obtained through lack of merit, then Ishvara is not the cause, just like others who lack merit. Furthermore, in this regard, is your Ishvara knowing or unknowing? If you believe that he is knowing, then the earth, mountains, valleys, Anadril, bees, trees, and other implements should also be knowing, because the result will arise just like the nature of the cause. For example, it is seen that only sweet mango fruits arise from sweet mango seeds, only sour fruits arise from sour seeds, and only bitter winter melon fruits arise from bitter winter melon seeds.

The earth, walls, tiles, reeds, and trees, etc., are not sentient, therefore Ishvara is not their cause. If it is thought that they are not sentient, then from the characteristics, the qualities of the cause precede the qualities of the effect, therefore the sentient beings born in the six realms are also not sentient, therefore Ishvara is not their cause. Furthermore, if it is thought that Ishvara is the cause of the three realms, then the three realms should also obtain the eight qualities of Ishvara. Since the three realms do not appear to possess the eight qualities of Ishvara, therefore Ishvara is not the maker of beings. Moreover, here, is it Ishvara who does virtuous and non-virtuous actions, or is it thought that the world does them? If it is thought that Ishvara does them, then Ishvara should also experience the suffering of the hell beings. If it is thought that the world does them, then Ishvara's actions would be in vain, and it would encounter things that the world has not done. If it is not thought that Ishvara is the maker of actions, then Ishvara is not the maker of all things, therefore Ishvara is not the maker of the objects of actions, and similarly, Ishvara would not be the maker of other things either. If Ishvara commands the world to act with words, then just as the actions done by hunters, etc., cause the hunters, etc., to fall into the lower realms, Ishvara would also fall into the lower realms. Furthermore, if Ishvara is the cause of all things, then Ishvara is also the cause of suffering. Since Ishvara is considered to be permanent, and a result similar to the cause will arise, therefore suffering will also be permanent. Therefore, suffering will have no end, just as if the cause of heat, fire, is burning, then the nature of heat will not cease. Moreover, if it is thought that Ishvara is only one, then how can it become diverse? Therefore, the three realms should also be one, and without parts.
