That which is called "is" means that any utensils such as vases are born from causes and conditions. To say "not born from self-nature" means that things like vases that are born from causes and conditions are not born from self-nature, because this is established for both sides. To say "all things are not born from self-nature" is what the Madhyamikas say, that all things are not born from self-nature. To say "establishing what is already established" means that what the Madhyamikas say, that all things are not born from self-nature, will be a fault of "establishing what is already established." For example, if it is feasible to establish that sparks and sprouts are not born from self-nature, but to establish that things like vases that are born from causes and conditions are not born from self-nature when it is already established for both sides that they are not born from self-nature, then it will be a fault of "establishing what is already established." That's what they say. In response to their saying that, the commentator here says, "Because it is forbidden for everything to arise from everything, that is not reasonable." This shows that because the Madhyamikas, in ultimate truth, forbid all results from arising from all causes and conditions, it is unreasonable for those with power to say, "establishing what is already established." Among them, "everything from" refers to all causes and conditions, that is, the nature of sparks and so on, the nature of seeds and so on, the nature of clay, sticks, wheels and so on, the nature of homogeneous causes and so on, and the nature of all causelessness. "Everything" refers to all results, that is, all birthplaces, sprouts, vases, cloths, coarse cloths, and so on. "Because birth is forbidden" refers to the Madhyamikas forbidding birth in ultimate truth. "That is not reasonable" refers to those with power saying that it is unreasonable to say "establishing what is already established." Furthermore, those with power speculate that sparks and sprouts arise from no cause, but in conventional truth, they must arise from causes and conditions.

Because it is certain to be something that arises. Because it is the cause of happiness, suffering, doubt, correct knowledge, and so on. For example, like a vase and cloth, etc., for example, like a vase and cloth, etc., are things that arise. In the conventional sense, arising from having a cause, similarly, sparks and sprouts, etc., are also things that arise. Only in the conventional sense does it arise from having a cause. Thus, for the time being, arising from self-nature does not exist, which refers to the conclusion that from causeless real things, it is shown that there is no arising from self-nature. Among them, the so-called "thus" refers to what is shown by reasoning and intellectual analysis. The sound of "for the time being" depends on the order, from causeless real things, for the time being, there is no such arising from self-nature, that is the meaning. The so-called "no arising from self-nature" refers to causeless real things, and it is established that real phenomena do not arise from self-nature. Now, we must refute the claims of those who consider causeless real things to be caused by Ishvara, therefore, first, in order to show the tenets of those who consider Ishvara to be the cause. Those who consider Ishvara to be the cause say: Whoever is subtle, solitary, and dwells in the place of birth, that one causes all of this to arise and perish. That is the lord of freedom, the supreme giver, the god to be worshipped. Practicing merit, attaining extreme peace. Whether this being has consciousness or not, my happiness and suffering, I have no autonomy. Indicated by Ishvara, either a cliff, or only going to high places. Thus they say, and this shows the tenets of those who consider Ishvara to be the cause. Among them, the so-called "those who consider Ishvara to be the cause say" refers to other heretics, all those who believe that all internal and external things arise from the cause of Ishvara. It is used in conjunction with "thus they say." The so-called "whoever" refers to Ishvara, which shows the basis of difference. The so-called "subtle" and so on, refers to those qualities of Ishvara, with which his difference is shown. Among them, the so-called "subtle" refers to becoming a small part. The so-called "solitary"
