The term "because it has its own nature" means that it has its own essence. If it already exists at the time of its creation, then what is the purpose of creation for it? For example, in the world, it is believed that yogurt is produced from milk, but it is not believed that yogurt is produced from its own nature of yogurt. Similarly, if an object already exists in its own nature, it will not be produced from itself, because acting on its own nature would be a contradictory fault. Alternatively, there is another method of valid cognition: things are not produced from themselves, because they are things, like a person. Here, a person is considered not to be produced from those systems of thought, so "similarly" is merely acknowledging non-production and serving as an example to refute the production of things. The unproduced has no self, because it is unproduced, like space. Here, if self is essence, then since persons and so on are not produced from self, self does not exist because it is unproduced, like a sky flower. The Commentary on the Heart of the Middle Way, The Blazing of Reasoning, Volume Seven. Here, the Samkhyas. They analyze the meaning of the sky flower in various ways, thereby refuting its possibility as an example. If the meaning of the so-called sky flower is a flower that exists in the sky, then if it is called a sky flower, it would follow that tilaka flowers and উৎপལ་ flowers, etc., would also be sky flowers, because they also exist in the sky, because the sky has the nature of providing space. Or, if it is called a sky flower because it is a flower that arises from the sky, then in this case, the meaning of "from the sky" also needs to be analyzed: Is it a flower that is different from the sky? Or is it a flower that comes from the sky? If the sky and the flower are called a sky flower, then since both of these exist, the example of the sky flower cannot be used to prove that things do not exist. If you say this: Because there is no flower related to the sky, the sky flower refers to a flower that does not exist in the sky, therefore it is called a sky flower. If that is the case, then the meaning and

And it will not be consistent. Why? Because even a sky flower has some self-nature, so you say that my metaphor is unique. Here it is said that the meaning of the non-existence of a sky flower, you think that the sky and so on exist, those are not sky flowers. Therefore, my tenet is not without (similar) examples. What is said here is that the meaning of our metaphor "sky flower," for the sky and so on, that is, for the sky, from the sky, with the sky, flower, sky flower, etc., you think that all three realms exist, those are not the meaning of our metaphor "sky flower." Then what is it like? The meaning of our metaphor "sky flower" is different from the sky and so on that you say. The sky flower, as our metaphor, you also cannot prove that it has some self-nature. Therefore, this tenet of mine is also not without similar examples. Here it is said that for those who think that the self-nature of the fruit arises from itself, those faults will also befall their tenet. But I think that it arises from the self-nature of the cause, so my tenet does not have those faults. Because all living things arise from the self-nature of the cause. If the other party raises a question and argues: If the cause and effect exist, thinking that it arises from that, and thinking that it arises from itself, then there will be this fault: If it is not different from that, like oneself, then the cause becomes non-cause. That is to say, if the cause and effect are different, then the name "this is the cause, this is the effect" can be established, but if they are not different, it cannot be established. The seed will also not be the cause of the sprout. Why? Because it is not different from that, like the self-nature of the fruit. Therefore, the sprout is also not the fruit of the seed, because it is not different from that, like the self-nature of the cause. In this case, the cause and
