Those who consider liberation to exist, believing that ultimate liberation is the nature of the person, because they are free from the dualistic thoughts of the grasper and the grasped, therefore they gather all things inward and ascertain that there is no outward activity, these views are also similar to the Samkhya school's tenets. Nirvana is annihilation, this is also unreasonable. Why? Because: Afflictions and discriminations, like rubbing wood for fire; What arises is exhausted by its own nature, therefore there is no accumulation in it; O person, how can your liberation be non-annihilated? This is because afflictions are aroused by untrue pervasive thoughts, like the turbidity of the water element and the clouds of the sky element, etc., obscurations such as anger, etc., completely afflict the mind, and yet, when correct wisdom arises, because it is free from discrimination, there is no accumulation, therefore they will naturally be exhausted by themselves. If there is no universal combination from the beginning, how can there be exhaustion? If there is no exhaustion, how can there be liberation? Therefore, you think that your liberation is non-annihilated, relying on what exhaustion is it established? Or, afflictions are simply unborn, because they are not produced by nature. Because they do not exist, there is no accumulation. If there is no accumulation, what can bind and from what can one be liberated? Therefore it is said: Unborn, also without thought, thus the two are the same. It is also said: If there is exhaustion or non-exhaustion, by what exhaustion is liberation spoken of? For the time being, like a candle, self-extinction is not a reasonable liberation. For things that are not exhausted, because there is no exhaustion, so like the sky, there is no liberation. Is it just that there is no liberation? It exists in conventional truth, but it does not exist in ultimate truth. Why? Because: Realizing selflessness, his wisdom also turns, attains the nature of inexhaustible, in an unattainable way. Because, when he has well realized that the nature of afflictions and mind is emptiness, then, because he does not cling to the nature of all dharmas, the wisdom of liberation will also change, affliction accumulation

Because of non-existence, it is inexhaustible, obtaining the Dharma nature of inexhaustibility, because obtaining non-existence is itself obtaining. As it is said, the Bhagavan (Sanskrit: Bhagavān, Romanized Sanskrit: Bhagavan, literal Chinese meaning: World Honored One) said: "I arose only from the essence of enlightenment in non-attainment." Similarly, the son of Sharadvati also has attainment, and also has realization, but that is merely spoken of in worldly terms as two, but in the ultimate sense, it is not real. Such and so on are spoken. Therefore, Lo-bo cag said: "Non-Buddhists do not rely on desire, truly knowing, those who desire to benefit themselves, do not rely on the vomiting words tainted by the stench of evil views." Thus it is said, whatever words of your own language are closely attached, those who are wise, truly knowing, and desiring to benefit themselves, do not rely on them. Why? Thus, your words are vomiting words tainted by the stench of the disease of evil views. Evil view itself is a disease, that itself is a stench, with its tainted vomiting words, whatever differences are as spoken, those who have such are the vomiting words tainted by the stench of the disease of evil views, do not rely on them. If one relies on them, what faults are there? Whatever are the fully ripened results of wrong views, one will joyfully obtain them, that is, the hell of sentient beings or the birthplace of animals, or the world of Yama. As it is said: "The faithful are bound by wrong grasping, the wrathful are bound by hatred, even the faithful are burned, what need to think of the hateful?" Therefore it is said. Here it is said that desire is only truly existent, because there is inversion. Thus, in impermanence and suffering, emptiness and selflessness, impurity, etc., there are inversions of permanence and happiness, reality and self, purity, etc. Relying on these, desire and so on will arise. As it is said, ignorance is the root of all afflictions, and the root of ignorance is improper attention, improper
