If asked: I will not become established. This statement is because of what it becomes without an example, and because on the established is the nature of establishment. Just as some sounds are added with the word "te", it can be seen in the collection, like the sound of a lion. I am not the self-nature of the collection, therefore, in any non-collection self-nature, there will be no appearance of what can be added, so it is without example. On the established is also the nature of establishment, just as we also nominally add the word "I" directly to consciousness. Just as consciousness is to take rebirth again, so it is "I", thus adding "I" to the collection of body and senses. As it is said: For example, the collection of limbs, One remembers it as a chariot, Likewise, relying on the aggregates, Conventionally speaking of sentient beings. Because of this saying. If asked: Is consciousness on the object, Truly established for others? Because it is separated from permanence and pervasiveness, It becomes contradictory in nature. This statement means, if other debaters, in the presence of the Buddha, truly established the reality of "I" for consciousness, then can we also truly establish the reality of "I" on other supreme "I"s? If so, that supreme "I" is like consciousness, because it is separated from permanence and pervasiveness, so like consciousness, through inference, because it is not of impermanence and non-pervasiveness, the nature of that supreme "I" as a dharma will become clear, therefore it will become contradictory. Therefore, for anything, in ultimate truth, Bondage and liberation are not desired. This statement means, for name and form, or other things, or "I", none can endure analysis, this is the concluding remark. Gone and not gone, going, Likewise, the remainder is said on the mind. This statement means, just as gone, not gone, and going, going is unreasonable, similarly, is the mind bound or unbound, or is something like bondage bound? Is liberation also liberated or unliberated, or is something like liberation liberated? Then, first of all, for those who are already bound, binding again is meaningless. For those who are not bound, because there is no bondage, so like liberation, there is no bondage.

Becoming liberated is also a fault of both. There is no liberation in liberation, because there is no bondage. There is no liberation in not being liberated, just as being bound by all afflictions. If there is liberation in the process of being liberated, as it is said in the characteristic: The mind of the non-learner is arising, it is liberated from obscurations. If you ask, what is that which is being liberated? If it is bound, then the fault of bondage and liberation being simultaneous will occur. If it is not bound, then from what will it be liberated? If the nature of both is one, then it is inconsistent; if it is bound, then it is not liberated, and if it is liberated, then it is not bound. If it is something that cannot be expressed, then the essence is destroyed. For the mind of learning, the imputation of being liberated in relation to the previous moment of mind is merely a convention, so the assertion is ruined. Therefore, for the mind, bondage and liberation are not reasonable in the ultimate sense. Therefore, the scripture says, "Son of good family, the Tathagata does not eliminate samsara, nor does he accomplish nirvana. Why is that? Because in suchness, there is no becoming samsara, nor becoming nirvana, no becoming completely afflicted, nor becoming completely purified." Such statements are established. If that is the case, and complete affliction and complete purification do not exist, then why did the Bhagavan say: "Those who are attached do not know the dharmas, those who are attached do not see the dharmas, whoever indulges in desire, at that time darkness becomes darkness." And so on, showing the faults of complete affliction, and why did he praise the qualities of complete purification, such as "Those who are satisfied with noble wisdom, those are satisfied"? Explanation: Attachment is like an illusion, a collection of formations, the activity of attachment and so on is great, like attachment to a beautiful woman in a city of gandharvas, and relying on seeing those faults, those conventional attachments and so on do exist. In the ultimate sense, what is great...
