The reason for "falling from practice" is that one has not directly realized the path. For example, if someone falls into a ravine, they cannot help others. Similarly, if one falls into the abyss of samsara, they cannot help others. According to the order mentioned earlier, the three incorrect reasons fabricated by the net of conceptualization, after examining whether they are reasonable or not, these three should be abandoned. The three kinds of karma related to grains, animals, ghee, wives, etc., which are accumulated by the net of conceptualization that contradicts all established tenets, are reversed for the cause of liberation. As shown in the previous order, because they contradict reason, in order to strongly establish which three paths should be abandoned, it is said. Furthermore, various actions, creating happiness, etc., have been said to be unreasonable before. If it is true that there is an agent, what have these done? In the discussion of seeking the wisdom of suchness, after refuting all causes such as Ishvara, they are contemptuously said again, if you think that Ishvara etc. are the agents of beings, then you must say what those things have done. In this regard, for the time being, because I have not been born, I do not want it to be done by him. Dharma and non-dharma did not produce him, how are his qualities? For the time being, because I have not been born, I cannot produce it, so it is not done by Ishvara. Dharma and non-dharma are also considered to be his qualities, so they are not produced by Ishvara, because just as now people etc. are made by the cause of Dharma and non-dharma, just as Dharma and non-dharma that have not been done are not seen, it was the same before. Also, if these are done by the agent, not the action of karma, then how do cause and effect change with karma and action? The body approached by happiness and suffering also merges into those, therefore the bodies of those with bodies should not be done by Ishvara etc. The merging of the bodies of those with bodies is also done by Dharma and non-dharma, why?

It is in order to experience happiness and suffering. Therefore, the body is not made by Ishvara. If it is said that in the beginning of existence, virtue and non-virtue were made by Ishvara, and subsequent actions are made by non-virtue, then in response to that: The body of the first aeon, has unseen causes of previous actions, it is the cause of the arising of happiness etc., just like the present body. The bodies of the beings of the first aeon also arise from the causes of virtue and non-virtue previously done by them since beginningless samsara, because it is the cause of the arising of happiness etc. Just as the cause of the present body is virtue and non-virtue, so is the body of the first aeon, therefore it is not made by Ishvara. Furthermore, if the Ishvara of Ishvara, is also made by merit, then it is also controlled by merit, and Ishvara becomes not Ishvara. All the perfections of the world, whatever little there is, are all made by merit. As the scriptures say: "By generosity, discipline, and meditation, one will obtain enjoyment, higher realms, and liberation." Therefore, if it is thought that the Ishvara of Ishvara is also made by merit, then because it is controlled by merit, Ishvara itself is lost. If it is said again, if the Ishvara of Ishvara arises suddenly, then because it is the same as other things, Ishvara becomes not Ishvara. This Ishvara is self-born, not made by merit. If so, all the world will become Ishvara, because there is no need to rely on merit. Furthermore, if Ishvara is a conscious entity, then the beings made by him, because they follow the cause, all should have consciousness. In the world, the result and the cause are seen to arise in accordance with each other. From non-sentient barley etc., non-sentient sprouts etc. arise, and from sentient beings such as humans, sentient bodies arise.

If Īśvara is a knowing entity, then since cause and effect are similar, all beings should be sentient. Furthermore, if Īśvara is the cause, then beings should possess subtle qualities, etc. If Īśvara is the cause of all beings, then just as Īśvara is subtle, worshipped, light, the possessor, the ruler, goes everywhere, possesses all desires, and has the ability to know joy, so too should beings possess the eight qualities of Īśvara. However, beings do not possess the eight qualities of Īśvara. Therefore, it should be known that Īśvara is not the agent of beings in this way. Furthermore, like this: If Īśvara is the agent of actions, then he too will be burned in hell. If he does not burn others, then the experienced and the unexperienced will coincide. Whatever virtuous and non-virtuous actions are done by beings, is Īśvara their agent? Or is he not? If he is the agent, then since he is the one who commits sins, how can Īśvara not be diminished by actions when he is burned by the flames of hell, etc.? If sins are committed but do not produce results, then the actions done are in vain. If the actions done by Īśvara cause them to experience the suffering of hell, then it is enjoying the results of unperformed actions, and therefore the fault of encountering the unperformed will occur. There is also no liberation, because there is always a cause for suffering. How can constant suffering cease? It is like seeing a fire burning, its heat does not subside. The agent of suffering is Īśvara, and since he is eternal, suffering will always be experienced. Liberation is the absence of suffering, but since Īśvara is eternal, it can never be changed. If Īśvara, the agent of the cause of suffering, is always present, how can it be pacified? For example, if there is a fire surrounded by burning flames, it is unreasonable for its heat to subside.
