It is like saying "it is a cow." Therefore, one should realize that there are heavens and liberation through inference, not just through scripture. Even so, scripture itself belongs to the category of inference. Furthermore: Inference and word-born are not different entities, they are the cause of knowing the hidden, depending on the remembrance of connection, just like inference itself. Because it arises from words, it is word-born, that is, scripture. Regarding this, hearing the words of trees with flowers, fruits, branches, etc., one can understand their meaning, because the remembrance arises from previously seeing the connection of trees with flowers, etc., therefore it is called dependent on the previous connection. Because it depends on the remembrance of connection. Thus, even if inference itself is determined to be near fire, it is like seeing the connection between smoke and fire and depending on remembrance. What was not there before cannot be made clear, just like preventing the clarifying function of words. Like a pot that has been made clear, it is also considered that what was not there before is impermanent. Dharma is also accomplished only through actions such as offerings, but it is not made clear, because it is made, it is not made clear by words and fire. If, because it is the eternal Dharma, the Dharma is made clear by actions, but it is not made, just as a pot in the darkness is made clear by a lamp. If you observe that it is made clear, then even so, what was not there before will become impermanent like a pot. Therefore, what was promised is destroyed. Furthermore: The result of actions such as lunar drinking, it is promised to be non-eternal. Because it is the result of action, for example: the result of happiness of the object born from the cause of desire. Any fruit of actions such as lunar drinks, even if it appears to be considered nectar and eternal, it is actually impermanent, because it is the fruit of action. Any fruit of action is impermanent, for example, the fruit of external pleasure born following the mind of desire. Similarly, liberation should not be attained through actions such as lunar drinks.

Therefore, because it is action, it is like not desiring action. Actions such as drinking Soma and making offerings to animals are not reasonable to lead to liberation because they do not transcend the world. Because it is the same as action, it is like saying that the cause of desiring enjoyment has matured, and the actions characterized by giving each other two things. Therefore, relying on this path, one cannot overcome the terminator. Those who follow others without the ability to use their minds rely on this path. One relies on the path of meditative wisdom that realizes the true meaning of things, or one will surely overcome the terminator. How can those who follow others, who have no ability to use their minds, and whose path is entirely speculative and untrue, overcome the terminator? Therefore, it is not true to say that actions such as drinking Soma can overcome the terminator. If it is also said that because there is immortality, there is the wisdom of quiescence, then no, this is inverted, taking impermanence as permanent. The three things that arise from lineage, auspicious words, praises, and rituals, can never attain liberation because of these three things. If it is considered a measure because it is the essence, then why is it not a measure because of ignorance, inverted views, etc.? This is because the pure desires shown by the sage gods. In order to answer the views of the previous schools, such as the above, it is said that the tantras shown by the supreme teacher of the gods refute wisdom. How to refute it? It is said that for the sake of material things, offering to the gods and abiding in preparation, and throwing food offerings, etc., are all speculative. In this way, the gods abiding in preparation, etc., are not accomplished. Is it that there has been a great famine in the heavens, so for what reason do the gods come here like dogs to eat the parts of the food offerings, half of the unfinished burden, the water of the incense offerings, mutton, and unhusked rice, etc.?

Again, it is said: Sinful ones, those who live by gathering many pure practitioners, having created something for the sake of offering to the gods, etc., slaughter livestock, use their essence as bait, and those who are deceived eat it. Horns, hooves, and skins are given to it. Mother without a home and those who offer bark, those whose throats are tied with ropes and those who are whipped, two Jewish castes and Mleccha priests, these six Vedas are examined. Whatever is temporarily lawful, and other castes that are lawful, the wealth of the wealthy, is seized like an eagle. Burning in fire, etc., displaying weapons like children's quarrels. Reciting the three bright fire sacrifices, smearing ashes on the three staffs. Those who are foolish and lack effort, do it for survival, so says Purva. Similarly, in the city, disguised thieves should be struck on the head with the rod of truth, so it is said that the reliance on the celestial sage is also unreasonable. The three answers are to show: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, seeing the nature of afflicted behavior, therefore these three should be abandoned. Only by being free from afflictions, possessing unobstructed wisdom, will speech be truthful. Anyone who, like being possessed by a ghost, follows the desires of afflictions, the meaning of their words is not truthful, because it is made by afflictions, so these three views should be abandoned, and not not abandoned. Among them, for the time being, the nature of Brahma having afflictions is like this: It is said in the Vedas: How these three existences, it is said that they are born from the grandfather. Completely abandoning all goodness, it is not what the noble ones should hear. Joining with the goddess of desire, experiencing the pleasure of desire, the creator of the world is born from the disease and desire of the young man. That grandfather gave the maker of happiness to her and said this: Men should enjoy women, and women should also enjoy men. Because there is such a teaching, therefore desire.
