It is not like that. Therefore, even like two ears, my wisdom has not been accomplished, so my own nature has been lost. Also, if one thinks that self-nature and the individual are different, that is liberation, and this view is also the same. Because there is no realization, the realization is: self-nature has no realization, or through what does the knowledge of it arise, then who will attain liberation? For the time being, because self-nature is without realization, there is no seeing of others. The individual is also of an unchanging nature, and if from previously clinging to oneness, it becomes seeing difference, because change is separated out, other wisdom will not arise. Therefore, apart from the individual, for other speakable suchness, knowledge arises, then the so-called liberation does not exist, this is the meaning of the words. Like this, because the individual is the nature of realization, other wisdoms do not arise as they are. Self-nature, because it has no realization, has no other wisdom at all, thus it is said: When holding through realization, I am like this, etc. is certain. Because there is no realization, others are not reasonable. If there is not that, then what is there? Also, for the time being, self-nature and the individual, in the nature of enjoyment and the enjoyer, are uniquely existent, at that time, self-nature will not produce the knowledge that I am like this, because it is very without realization. Moreover, when seeing difference, it is the reversal held by the individual, I am not the individual, and the individual is not mine, what knowledge will arise from this? Therefore, this is very unreasonable. The reversal of this is also unreasonable, because it is common with many. Just as when a king dies, he is also considered a servant of many groups. The self-nature called enjoyment, initially on this shore of samsara, the individual closely enjoys, having done my work and reversed, self-nature is one, and the individual is many, therefore here, even if one individual has been liberated, not all are liberated, because they are commonly bound by many individuals. One individual dies, love for him and

Even if separated, there is no liberation from other living beings. There is also this fault in the liberation of the purusha: because the different objects are not obscured. As I have distinguished, in the mind of the purusha, due to diligence, one wants to see that itself. The tenet of the Samkhya school is: gods and non-gods, humans and animals, in each of the bodies of beings, there is a purusha residing, and all those purushas are also pervasive in all places. They say that when those purushas are to be liberated, how can it be just one aspect? Because the mind with increased diligence, having been freed from obscuration, when one purusha is liberated from those, all purushas will be liberated, which is unreasonable. All other purushas remain bound, how can one be liberated? Because the objects are not different. Not only is the purusha unable to be liberated, but also, the perception of sound and so on, likewise dharma and non-dharma, the fault is the same, and not seeing is also uncertain. The engagement of the ears and so on with sound and so on will also obtain the oneness of all purushas. When one practices dharma, all purushas will also abide in dharma. When one enters non-dharma, all will also be associated with non-dharma. Therefore, it is also uncertain when liberation will be seen. Why? Because there is no difference in objects. Just as it is impossible for darkness and light to exist simultaneously in one direction of the sky, or rain and sunshine. If the purusha pervades all places, this fault will also arise: because of pervading all places, all will also be in the nature of all beings, and I and you will also be mixed. Body, senses, and intelligence will also become common. What one does, others will also do. When one abandons all actions, all will also abandon actions. The saying "The work of the Brahmins is this, the work of the commoners is this" will also not exist. The establishment of the four castes will also not exist.

Thus. The faults of father and son, enemies and the state in which parents reside, will also disappear, and so on, exist. If someone thinks that "the person (Pudgala) acts following the entry of wisdom," this view is also untenable. Because, if the person changes, then the person is without awareness, and is without cause, non-pervasive. Because the person changes, like milk. The person is not aware, because it completely changes, like milk. The person is not without cause, like milk. The person is not all-pervasive, like milk. For those who think that liberation comes from the appearance of the person's image, even if the mind does not change, because it is the cause of the image, the faults mentioned before will arise, like the image of a face. Just as the image of a face in water and so on, although it exists as the cause of the appearance of the image, it does not completely change. Similarly, the awareness of the mind is also, through the objects seen by wisdom, the image merely exists as being nearby and is helpful, even if it exists as the nature of the cause, it does not completely change. This is the view of other schools. Here also, just like the image, the person who has become the nature of the cause, like the image of a face, is without awareness, and is without cause, non-pervasive, because it contradicts the self-nature of the subject (referring to the person), so it exists in contradiction to the cause of the appearance of the image. Like this, because the person has no awareness, it is unreasonable to say "I and he." If it is said that there will be no fault after distinguishing, then liberation will become imputed. Because the agent and the action are reversed, if the object here is not nearby, then what will be distinguished? How can a person without awareness have distinctions such as "I and he" arise? If even without distinction, but through the mind's distinction, by imputing it as self, it becomes the imputing and the imputed, then liberation will also become the imputing and the imputed. However, liberation is considered real, not imputed. In that case, the nature is also not.
