Those born are empty of their own nature because they are not born from their own nature, and because they are considered to be without birth and cessation, etc. This principle is also not contrary to the scriptures. How so? As it is said: 'Whatever is born from conditions, the Thus-gone One has declared to be unborn.' Therefore. By what reasoning? It says: 'In ultimate truth, it is to refute its birth from reality.' That is to say, whatever is born from conditions, the Thus-gone One has declared that it is indeed without birth in ultimate truth, because on the aggregates of different causes and conditions, there is no specifically identifiable nature of it. Thus it is also said: 'Whatever is born from conditions is unborn, in it there is no nature of birth, whatever depends on conditions is said to be empty, whoever knows emptiness is mindful.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, 'Since phenomena are not truly real, they are like conventional minds, in the realm of various self and general characteristics, there is no contradiction in transformation.' This says that, precisely because phenomena are not truly real, therefore, in conventionality, there is no contradiction in their transformation into the objects of minds and various sounds' own characteristics, and the objects of general characteristics, such as blue, etc., and form, etc., and pot and coarse cloth, etc. If things were truly real, then, like space, etc., because they would become a single nature, they would not become the objects of various minds and various sounds, but that is not the case. To this, there is also a scripture famous in both systems, what is it? It says: 'By whatever names, whatever speaks of phenomena, in that, that is not, that is the nature of phenomena.' That is to say, 'By whatever names' is by the names of self and general expressions, and the nature of various letters, etc. 'Whatever speaks of phenomena' is the expression of words that can clearly express form, etc. 'In that, that is not' means that the name that is clearly expressed on that phenomenon does not exist, phenomena are the nature without letters.

It is for this reason. Like this, using local languages and various definite words to express the same thing in many ways, for example, water is called Paniya, Apa, Sanila, Nira, and so on. If it is said that it is the self-nature expressed by one sound, then other sounds will not enter into it, and those sounds cannot express it either, if it is not like that. This is the Dharma nature of all phenomena. What is said, "What cannot be expressed is the ultimate truth of all phenomena," in the conventional truth, in order to be able to recognize it, it is named and conventionally agreed upon, and through these, the differences of things can be fully understood, such as "This is a cow, not a horse and a person." Self-nature is the object of consciousness, why? Because the dumb and the deaf, etc., who are illiterate and do not understand conventions, can also recognize things such as bottles, and cows, etc., can also recognize their own and other calves, etc., through smell and eyes. Therefore, things are empty of names in all circumstances, so it cannot express the self-nature of things, which is the same for both you and me. If the self-nature arising from causes and conditions wants to arise from the power of others, it is not real like illusion, and it can accomplish what is desired. What is said means that if the self-nature arising from the aggregation of causes and conditions of other powers is merely possessing self-nature, because it arises from other powers, so if it is considered not the ultimate truth, then what is said here is that if it is considered to arise from other powers like that, it is not real like illusion, then how can it have self-nature? If so, you can accomplish what we desire. As established as shown above, the other-arising is also without anything to be taken, and it is considered not born from self-nature. For example, like this, in the ultimate truth, for what has already arisen, it is not appropriate to have a reversed appearance. What is said means that the other-arising that you say is separated from the self-nature of the taker and the taken, therefore, if it is said to be without anything to be taken, then if self-nature
