Unwilling to say it is unspeakable. The so-called "unwilling to say it is unspeakable" is like this: If it is said that whatever is the general characteristic of the self-nature of excluding others is the very nature of things themselves, and it is not said that there are no things, then, by this, what the mind wants to examine, and what the words want to express, should reasonably be something. You grasp the exclusion of others even without grasping things, so you realize that the exclusion of others is excluding others from things. Therefore, it is unwilling to say that it is the object of examination and expression, because it is difficult to prove these. Here some people say that through the exclusion of others, things become the object of examination and expression. In response, it is explained: If others are explained through that door, Then the expressible, etc., are all lost. It means that if the thing with the general characteristic is grasped all at once through the door of excluding others, The thing itself becomes the object of examination and expression. However, the general characteristic of excluding others loses its function as the object of expression and examination, so your inference proposition is not established. Furthermore, If that is the nature of others, Therefore, it is unreasonable to say it is unspeakable, Therefore, the Yogacara school's, Doctrinal statement is unreasonable. It means that if the exclusion of others is a nature different from things, then whatever is different from things, similarly, the mind should also be different, and the manifest expression should also be different, therefore, the exclusion of others is unspeakable, which is unreasonable. Thus, through the reasons stated above, after comprehensive examination, therefore, the view of the Yogacara school that the exclusion of others is a general characteristic, etc., is not established, so the examination conducted through those established conclusions is unreasonable because it is not reasonable. Commentary on the Essence of the Middle Way: The Blazing of Reasoning. Nineteenth Chapter. Here it is said: Our doctrine is not unreasonable, because it does not contradict reason. Why? We believe that all things have no self-nature, because they are empty of the nature manifested by names. And the manifested nature itself is unborn, and precisely because it is unborn, it is also unceasing.

Thus. Whatever is an object with expression, it is not in the form of whatever way it is expressed, because it is merely a convention. Thus, if an object becomes the object of expression, then saying "fire" would become the fault of a linguistic error. Similarly, because it is said that "the completely imputed object does not exist, the other-powered exists," it is acknowledged that the other-powered exists. If it is said like that, then here it is said, "All things are without self-nature, because the nature of expression is empty. Because of that nature, it is unborn, neither unborn nor unceasing. Why is it that an object with expression is not as it is said? Therefore, all dharmas are without reality." And so on, saying many things, and saying that "the other-powered exists," is to establish what is to be established in the conventional. If in the ultimate there is no example, and it becomes a contradictory reason. Saying this, if all of these are established in the conventional, then it is establishing what has already been established, because we also think that all of these are in the manner of conventional truth. If it is established in the ultimate, then there is no example for establishing the other-powered as existent in the ultimate, because that is also empty of self-nature. Similarly, it will also become a contradictory reason of "empty of the nature of expression," because by inferring the emptiness of the nature of expression, by the inexpressible reality, it refutes the self-naturelessness of the objects of dharmas, because it establishes the reversal of the own nature of the subject. If you also think that the self-nature of our other-powered is birth without self-nature, because it is not born from what has become existent, like an illusion, that is also empty of self-nature, so it will not become a contradictory meaning of the reason. Then here it is said, "If the self-nature of the other-powered is birth without self-nature, if it is not born from what has become existent, then it becomes contradictory to birth and cessation." Saying this, if that is the case, then it is establishing our own assertion, because we also from the nature of similar causes and conditions
