Furthermore, if it is said that this view has been firmly established by "Abilities and objects as things, the two become causes for each other, and proceed from beginningless time," then the answer is that the fourth root verse of that Compendium of Statements, "How is it desired to reverse that?" will be refuted and examined later. For those who believe in the existence of external objects, the yogis who seek the purity of the consciousness that appears as an object realize that the object is without inherent existence. And, in order to reverse the grasper and the grasped, the arising of transcendental non-conceptual wisdom is the only logical thing to do. For you who assert that objects do not exist, there is no external object from the beginning, and later it enters into the nature of grasper and grasped as if it did not exist. Then, by what cause will it be reversed later, and what means will there be to generate transcendental non-conceptual wisdom? For those who say that objects do not exist, there is no way to generate the transcendental path, so it must be said how the consciousness of the nature of ability and object, which proceeds from beginningless time, can be reversed. If you think, "Non-conceptual mind is not abandoned, because it is noble and non-conceptual," it means that even if the two conceptualizations of grasper and grasped, which are the cause of entering samsara, have been abandoned, the non-conceptual wisdom is not abandoned, because it is noble and because it is non-conceptual, it is generated and not reversed. If that is the case, then, "Where is liberation when it arises? Because its seed has not been destroyed." It means that, like this, if it is believed that the seed of consciousness entering is samsara, and destroying it is liberation, then as long as there is the arising of consciousness with or without conceptualization, where is liberation? Therefore, for you who speak of mind-only, liberation is also unreasonable. If you think that the arising of consciousness with conceptualization is bondage, and the arising of non-conceptual consciousness is liberation, why is that? Like this: "When the perception of duality enters, various appearances greatly increase, its various"
