D. The so-called "all-knowingness" itself is also without attachment. Just as it is said in the scriptures: "What is the small desire of a Bodhisattva? It is not to desire to become a Buddha." If there is no wisdom, even accumulating generosity and other virtues for thousands of kalpas will not become the cause of perfecting the pāramitās. Therefore, in order to show the power of wisdom, (it is said in the scriptures): Wisdom is nectar, it is satisfaction, it is a lamp, it is unobstructed light, it is the ladder to the palace of liberation, it is the fire that burns afflictions. And so on. Wisdom is the most excellent knowledge. It itself is nectar, because it is the cause of attaining the state of immortality. It itself is also satisfaction, because it can stop the craving for objects, thereby generating great gentleness. As it is said in the scriptures: "Those who are satisfied by the wisdom of the noble ones are the truly satisfied." Wisdom itself is a lamp, because it can dispel the darkness of ignorance. It itself is unobstructed light, because the attacks of outsiders, the support of demons, evil winds, etc., cannot hinder its light. It itself is the ladder to the palace of liberation, because it is like a ladder that can climb to the city of Nirvana, which transcends all worlds and is decorated with the pillars of the limbs of enlightenment, a beautiful place. It itself is the fire that burns the wood of afflictions, because it, like a forest fire, can burn all the forests of afflictions. The discernment of wisdom is also considered to be of two kinds, depending on the two truths. In order to conform to the correct meaning, it is correct conventional knowledge. The discernment of wisdom is also considered to be of two kinds, depending on the two truths, conventional truth and ultimate truth. Among them, correct conventional knowledge is called pure worldly wisdom, because it conforms to the realization of the correct meaning, so it is correct conventional knowledge. In order to show it through the way of distinction, (it is said in the scriptures): Generosity and merit, the wisdom of, perfecting all efforts, and the fruits of those causes, and the fruit

Understanding connection and characteristics, etc. Cultivating great love and compassion, Gathering and maturing sentient beings, And the twelve sources of dependent origination. It should be known that this is the increase of wisdom. These are saying that the accumulation of generosity is giving, great giving, and extreme giving. The accumulation of merit is faith, mindfulness, and correct views, etc. The accumulation of wisdom is the knowledge of hearing, thinking, and meditating with familiarity. It should be known that perfecting these is the increase of wisdom, and this should be combined with correct conventional wisdom. What is called "the fruit of those causes" refers to understanding the accumulations, that is, how these three causes are related to the fruit, which is also correct conventional wisdom. Among them, the fruit of the accumulation of generosity is the form body well adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of a great person. The fruit of the accumulation of merit is the Dharma body. The fruit of the accumulation of wisdom is the wisdom that possesses a single moment. What is called "connection" refers to the connection between cause and effect. For example, like the continuity of the proximate cause accumulated by many moments of mind, like the stamen of the Madhuca longifolia flower being red, or like the continuity of seed and sprout, the moment of mind has the ability to produce fruit for others, therefore, such a connection between cause and effect is also correct conventional wisdom. What is called "characteristic" refers to the characteristic of all phenomena, which are of two kinds, namely the difference between self-characteristic and general characteristic. Among them, the self-characteristic refers to the entity of the thing itself, possessing an object of experience, and should be definitely grasped by non-conceptual wisdom. The general characteristic is what should be realized by subsequent inferential, conceptual wisdom. The word "etc." includes nature, name, establishment, sign, diligence, and acceptance and rejection, etc. What is called "knowing" refers to the wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes these, and this is also correct conventional wisdom. What is called "cultivating great love and compassion" refers to cultivating love, compassion, joy, and great equanimity. What is called "gathering sentient beings" is saying
