It is done. Whatever woman is considered not to be engaged in sexual activity should actually be engaged in it, which needs to be proven. What is the reason? Because she is a woman. Whoever is a woman should engage in sexual activity. For example, like other women, like one's own wife, this is the conclusion. If someone says that this contradicts worldly reasoning, there is no fault because of the special emphasis on "actually." This is also contrary to reason, because if one engages with a woman due to desire, then both engaging and not engaging in sexual activity can equally pacify desire. Those who say such things speak with poor intellect. Even so, there is no fault, and similarly, your words that slander all things are similar to this. There is another great fault: The one who sees the truth is not the truth itself. If it is not that, then it becomes contradictory. As taught by the heavenly gods, they do not want it to be that way. In the Mahayana, it is also said that suffering, the origin of suffering, cessation, and the path are not the truth, and even understanding suffering and so on does not completely liberate one from suffering. If the one who sees the truth is not the truth itself, then what other truth is it that is not it? If someone says that the truth taught in the Mahayana exists, that is not reasonable because it is different from seeing the truth, just as taught by the heavenly gods. They proclaim such a truth: If one pierces an ant with a golden needle in a golden vessel and hides it, one will be liberated from samsara. They believe that the one who kills the ant also accumulates the seeds of liberation, and that killing or raising cows and other animals and engaging in sexual activity with them is the cause of obtaining rewards such as heaven. Furthermore, they also distort the meaning of the sutra "The Three Realms are Mind Only," and explain it to negate external sources of birth and so on, which is also unreasonable. Because external sources of birth exist, the consciousness that appears in them arises. Therefore, external sources of birth exist, and consciousness abides in existence, according to its pleasure.

Now, there are dharmas. The existence of those dharmas belongs to its dharma. The appearance of those external sources is the distinction of the nature of the object's appearance. That appearance arises because it appears there. What is that appearance arising on? It is on the mind, the consciousness of the six senses. Since consciousness cannot arise without an object, just as you rejoice in believing that the mind, which is very famous in your own scriptures, exists, similarly, rejoice in believing that external sources also exist. That is the meaning. If you do not want the mind to exist, then your beings are not only mind. You do not have the means to act on beings and establish logic. Furthermore, if you closely focus on only the mind, then external sources and so on will not be closely focused on. If external sources and so on are not closely focused on, then even the mind will not be closely focused on. If you think this way, then the teachings that these three realms are only mind will also be ruined. Moreover, what is the reason for saying that beings are only mind? What is the example for this? Since there is no faultless reason and example for this, it is merely a proposition. Merely by making a proposition, no desired meaning can be established. This is the first position taken from the Theravada vehicle. To that, the previously stated reasoning is: whatever is said because of fear that one's own side will be ruined, which others do not want, that is not reasoning. That, called 'to that,' is the word for closely establishing the later side. The previous reasoning, such as 'earth and so on do not become their own nature,' and because of fear that the rules of one's own three baskets will be ruined, others, namely the Theravadins. 'Unwilling' means unbearable. What is said is what becomes the showing of faults. 'That is not reasoning' means that the answers that will be explained will show that it is with faults, with that intention. The previous side spoke these with the valid measure of meaning. The teacher is the one who possesses non-conceptual wisdom, because he focuses on the four noble truths. Like the wisdom of solitary realizers and so on.
