Homage! Because examination is for the sake of worldly reverence, therefore the Buddha's words are also not valid, because they are made, like others. The perfect Buddha is not omniscient, because he is a person, like others. The Buddha's words are valid, in order to refute three views. Just as whatever is said is just like that, like the view of naked wanderers. By understanding sound, meaning, and reason, abandoning the poison of partiality, if one seeks truthfully, then one should examine in this way. Because it comes from tradition, without interruption, if it is scripture itself, then all scriptures will also be established, so one must grasp the key points within it. If it is said that it can withstand the examination of reason, any word is scripture, then for the time being, examine it. From the outside, what does it show? For it, for the sake of its antidote, it is considered wisdom liberation, because it is the antidote to disease, so medicine can liberate from disease. Liberation is not attained through action, because it is action, like farming. Because it is not wisdom, it is what is spoken, because it is slightly limited in time, the words of a person are flawed, so if it is considered not valid, then through words like gold ornaments, knowledge, etc., the reason itself becomes uncertain. Or, because it is not made, if the Vedas are established as valid, then as a reason, it is neither common nor an unestablished meaning. There is no subsequent indication, there is no fault. If you say so, then the Buddha also did not make it. The previous perfect and complete Buddha, how he realized it, has been explained. Because the inference is that it is made, it is harmed by the inference of partiality. Because the author is not remembered, it is not established, so this reason is not established. If it is said that the author of the mantra was in the past, and appeared together with the mantra, although the author made it, he did not make it, your treatise is a manifest desire. Because it appeared together with it, like speaking from remembering past lives. If the treatise appears together with the author, then why not say so? Because it corresponds to realization? Similarly, because it conforms to the rules of writing, then are the words of the Vedas not made by the author who is grasped? This also considers the words of the Vedas to be made by a person. Because it is the cause of the wisdom that arises from the meaning one wants to express, it is the object of desire.

Thus. This Veda should be measured by what is done by an unwholesome person. Like the Magha treatises spoken of because of demonic possession, drinking alcohol, and lying. If one does not desire the mind of harming, but desires to give a fruit that is not given, like using poison because of being held by a mantra. Like giving alms for the sake of the appearance of treatises. What should be done in going and not going, which is lured by mantras and the like? It was said earlier that drinking alcohol, and the same later, so it is uncertain. Even if one eats poison with an action that is not preceded by the mind, it will cause death, but karma is not preceded by the mind, and it has not been said that it can produce results. Therefore, the analogy of poison is not reasonable because it is not similar. Therefore, killing livestock with mantras should be understood as unreasonable. In order to cut off life, wanting to seize with mantras, but not wanting to produce results, like the combination of poison, weapons, and treatises. If it is said that it is said from one's own sect, one can also achieve liberation from samsara. If one speaks of a common argument, then it is not established for others. Whatever is not held by mantras, if one does a little bit of merit, all of those will become without results, if it is said to be an unwanted result. Killing others with mantras, that will also become faultless. With the mantra that can control, approaching other people's women, and causing harm by the power of mantras. If one does not want to kill, stealing other people's property, that will also become without fault. If the mantra is a prior action, there one wants to do good, not others, then for such teachings, one must explain the difference in arguments. If one recites a mantra for sentient beings, without doing any binding, wanting to make them motionless, even that is no different. Because after closing all the doors, grabbing powerless animals, and killing them with sharp weapons, what can the mantra do for them? Oneself becoming naturally arising, producing animals for the sake of sacrifice, therefore for that need, sacrifice is the Dharma, like this analogy. Harming for the sake of Brahmins, like this is not the Dharma. Even if one abuses animals during sacrifice, it is not that one does not want the results, for that reason, if one says it is for the sake of Brahmins, how can one do as one pleases?
