Its nature, being one, does not go to another, because it is without substance and without object. How can one speak of that reason? Like the sky, it is also unborn, without difference and without stain. However, it is extremely difficult to express, because the mind cannot grasp it in any way. The wisdom that is free from birth and old age is considered to be beyond the world, for the sake of liberating from the world, and also for the sake of transcending the world completely. That which is incomprehensible, without object, and also without characteristics, therefore, in the nature of self and other phenomena, in the same moment, one realizes equality through an inconceivable manner. The non-arising of all phenomena is said to be the selflessness of phenomena. In that, the stains of conceptual marks do not arise, as in the previous four. If that is the object of thought, not being an object of practice, through inference, one cannot know that. Therefore, the nature of phenomena is not to be examined. In this, there is no fault in inference, because the holy teachings can accomplish it accordingly. The streams of examination and conceptualization, all kinds, without exception, are removed. The Buddhas do not possess any conceptualization. Their intention is the wisdom equal to space. They realize the nature of all knowable phenomena as they are, and the attainment of names and so on. Therefore, the object of inference cannot establish that it is that very thing. What is the opposite of knowing that very thing? That is what can be refuted by it. Because the differences in the holy teachings are different, what is the need for the wisdom that arises differently? If there is no difference in the holy teachings, what else is there in the wisdom that arises in that? If the opposite is to be abandoned, how can one desire it merely by making a vow? Without abandoning conceptual thought, how can there be non-conceptual wisdom? The capable one, seeing the truth, thus holds the two truths. Therefore, by relying on conventional terms, one can realize that very true meaning. The wisdom that focuses on suchness, because it has an object, is false. It should be known as being like a dream, etc. Therefore, it should not be that very thing. Unseizable, inexpressible, having abandoned all objects of knowing practice, the Dharma spoken by the powerful Lord, thus, that can harm this. Thus, possessing the holy teachings and reason, that very thing that was previously revealed, even if examined well with reason, remains without any harm to it. Some accumulate the tree of aggregates, some establish the banner of consciousness, even in the perilous place at the edge of reality.
