In the 'Holy Lankavatara Sutra,' it is said: "Even having abandoned all delusions, if a delusion has already arisen, that is a correct delusion, like when the eye disease is not completely cleared." In other sutras, it is also said: "Even when an elephant abides, it abides in equanimity. Even when an elephant walks, it abides in equanimity. Even when an elephant sleeps, it abides in equanimity. Even when an elephant rests, it abides in equanimity." Furthermore, in the 'Holy Entering the Realm of All Buddhas Sutra,' it is said: "Without color, shape, or characteristics, without cessation and without arising, without root and without support, without object, I prostrate to you." And so on, it is extensively taught. In the 'Three Hundred Stanza Praise to the Mother,' it is also said: "Whoever sees me in form, whoever knows me by sound, that person has entered a wrong path, that person cannot see me. The Buddhas are the Dharma body, like leading into the nature of Dharma, because the nature of Dharma cannot be seen, therefore it cannot be fully known." Thus it is taught. Also, in the 'Holy Entering the Realm of All Buddhas Sutra,' it is said: "The Tathagata is the ever-unborn Dharma, all Dharmas are the same as the Tathagata. Those with childish minds grasp at characteristics, in the world they practice non-existent Dharmas. The Tathagata's immeasurable virtuous Dharmas, all are unpolluted Dharmas. There is no suchness, nor is there a Tathagata, in the world images appear everywhere." Thus it is taught. To clarify this meaning, the master himself said: "If one knows the difference between relative and ultimate truth, and the mind abides in non-action, that one knows the union. Equanimity and non-equanimity, in whom are all these absent?" Also, in the 'Praise of the Ultimate,' it is said: "Not abiding in all Dharmas, having become the reality of the Dharma realm, having attained the supremely profound state, I prostrate and praise the profound you." Thus it is extensively taught. Therefore, the terms "equanimity" and "subsequent attainment" are words for those to be tamed who are attached to objects. What is it like at the end of the exhaustion of all Dharmas, at the time of Nirvana? Arya Deva also said: "For a while, this thing is like a lotus born from a forest in the sky, without substance."

. Other than these two, the rest are like rabbit horns. What kind of liberation do you have, you who boast of being superior? Thus it was said. The Buddhas always, dwell equally in suchness, in that state beyond expression, there is neither entering nor returning. How is wisdom itself? Where are equanimity and subsequent attainment? If they possessed these, what difference would there be with those who have entered the grounds? Now, let us enter the stages of meditation. Therein, Bodhisattvas for three countless eons, seven eons, and thirty-three eons, yogis cultivate skillful means and wisdom, the four means of gathering, the four immeasurables, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, dharanis, samadhi, the eight liberations, the ten powers of a Bodhisattva, the eighteen unshared qualities of a Bodhisattva, the ten powers, the four individual perfect knowledges, the ten grounds, and the ten perfections, with reverence, for a long time, and without interruption, they bring them to completion. Having perfected the complete maturation of sentient beings, the complete accomplishment of the Buddhadharma, being well-versed in great compassion, having obtained mastery over all aspirations, the master of the tenth ground, the last of existence, looking at the realm of sentient beings, sees that they do not diminish, and thinks thus: In the sutra it is said: As far as the extent of space reaches, so is the extent of all sentient beings. Thus it is said. And again, in the Sutra Pitaka it is said: It is like all the realms of the world becoming a wheel of water, and if a person who is a hundred years old drops one drop of water every year, that water will eventually be exhausted, but the realm of sentient beings will not be exhausted. Thus it is said, so before I have directly realized the Dharmakaya, I cannot liberate sentient beings, I must directly realize the Dharmakaya. After that, the Tathagatas of the ten directions empower, and all the qualities of the Buddha, including the ten powers, will be completely attained. As the teacher said: With the yoga of gradual entry, the famous sons of the Buddhas, with the wisdom of the clouds of Dharma, the Dharma

Since emptiness has been seen, when the mind is thoroughly cleansed, it transcends the prison of samsara, and on that seat of the great lotus nature, one is well established. The light of countless precious petals, possessing a desirable stamen, countless lotus petals, completely surround in every way. Filled with the ten powers, satisfied with fearlessness, the inconceivable Dharma of the Buddha, flows from those without elaboration. Through all virtuous deeds, accumulating immeasurable merit and wisdom, like the full moon surrounded by stars. The Buddha's hand holds that sun, shining like a spotless jewel, anointing the eldest son, the anointing is universally requested. After saying this, like the autumn midday sky, free from dust, without any dust of characteristics, separated from mind, intellect, and consciousness, in the realm of Suchness, all without exception are without difference, of the same taste, that is called Buddha. To realize it, for whom, there is no arising wisdom, that is the true Buddha. Because of abandoning discrimination, because of increasing without discrimination. All dharmas have different characteristics, without arising and ceasing, with the equality of equality, without object one perfects Buddhahood, without perfecting Buddhahood one becomes Buddha, in the world with gods and humans, that is called Buddha. Awakening from the sleep of ignorance, with the great self-born wisdom of the Dharma-nature Bodhicitta, in a single instant knowing all knowable realms, and manifestly perfecting enlightenment, that is Buddha. As it is said: Possessing the nature of all things, holding the nature of all things, the unborn Dharma is of various meanings, all dharmas hold the essence, all dharmas are manifestly realized, with great wisdom in a single instant, comprehending all dharmas. Thus it is said. Furthermore, with diamond-like samadhi, in a single instant manifestly perfecting enlightenment, the samadhi of no self-nature, I prostrate to you who are without object. Thus it is said. The teacher Chandrakirti also said: Because of awakening from the sleep of ignorance, because wisdom increases, therefore it is Buddha.
