It does not change into birth or death. Feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness do not change into birth or death. Completely suppressing with great force, form, feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness do not change into birth or death, whatever does not arise or cease is the Perfection of Wisdom. And so on, similarly, completely suppressing with great force. Having no beginning, end, or middle is the limit of nirvana. It is not as it is said, all dharmas having no limit is the limit of nirvana. What is said and so on is established. Composed by the teacher Lekdenjé, in the commentary on the Root Verses on the Middle Way, the Lamp of Wisdom, this is called Examining Samsara, the eleventh chapter. Now, by refuting the distinctions of the opposing aspects of emptiness, the twelfth chapter is begun by the power of the meaning of showing suffering as being without inherent existence. Here it is said: In the ultimate sense, the skandhas are only existent, because they are suffering. Whatever is not here is not suffering, like a two-headed being. The skandhas are suffering, as it is said in the Sutra Pitaka: In short, the five aggregates of clinging are suffering. Because it is said so, and also in the Abhidhamma it is said: Suffering, origin, the world, the place of views, and existence. Because it arises in this way, therefore, by the power of the reason stated above, in the ultimate sense, the skandhas are only existent. Here it is explained: After establishing the concept of suffering, some say that suffering is made by oneself, made by others, made by both, or arises from no cause. That is not to be done. Some speakers think that suffering is made by oneself, made by others, not made by both, and arises from no cause, and that the various kinds of discriminations are not suitable as the fruit of action. How is it? For the time being, how is it that suffering is not made by oneself in the ultimate sense? It will be shown here that if it were made by oneself, then arising dependently would not change. Because it is made by oneself.

Not made by causes and conditions, therefore, the dharma that arises dependent on it does not exist, that is the name. That is not desired. It is desired to arise dependent on conditions, this shows that the dharma of suffering arises dependent on conditions. Why? These aggregates, dependent on them, those aggregates arise. Why? That is, dependent on these present aggregates, those aggregates that are desired to arise arise. The sound of "why" should be regarded as such a meaning. Thus, it is a metaphor that conforms to the right dharma. Here, the inference is that the five aggregates named Deva, in fact, are not corresponding to the author Deva, because they arise dependent on conditions, just like the latter five aggregates of one existence are born from the cause of the former five aggregates. Also, some who differentiate say: although the collection of body, senses, and consciousness is destroyed, I am not destroyed, and that in our sect, it is the only one that corresponds to the author and dwells, therefore the suffering made by it can be called my doing. If the actions are of the nature of destruction in each moment, then the moment of mind that generates suffering, it corresponds to the author, so it is not my doing, and it is impossible to enjoy the fruits of the karma made by others, so it is not made by others, which contradicts the boundary of creation. As those who say so, for them also, that is not doable. That suffering is not doable, because the inference harms the correspondence and dwelling with that self. In that, the inference here is that the man is not the author, because of permanence, like the void. By the inference of permanence, the nature of non-author, because of diligently seeking the nature of the author, there is the fault of diligently seeking the dharma body with the dharma nature in the proposition. Also, if I did it, therefore it does not turn into arising dependent on conditions. It does not turn into arising from the cause of me, because the author is not born, then the action is not reasonable, so it is thought. Also, if suffering corresponds to the author self,

If one wishes to think so, even then, therefore it does not arise dependently. Please consider that this is because we on our side speak of suffering as the sound of "I." Or, if a person himself has done that action, therefore it does not arise dependently. The words of other causes that act together are the remainder. Suffering should not be considered as having an agent self, because it is to be accomplished by many causes. For example, like the work of a forest fire burning a forest, which arises from strong winds shaking and dragging the branches of dry trees. Here, the inference is that, ultimately, the suffering of Devadatta is not possessed by the agent self of Devadatta, because it is suffering, like the suffering of a sacrifice. If someone says that even when the suffering of a sacrifice arises, sometimes Devadatta is the agent, therefore it is uncertain. The answer is that because it is experiencing the fruit of one's own actions, it is not uncertain. Even if it is its transformation, it is not the nature of the agent, like donkeys and so on, in name, also because the things of the causes that act together have become its parts, there is no fault. For those conditioned things that have the nature of perishing in each moment, then, the moment of mind in which suffering arises, because it does not possess that agent, so also listen to what I have said, "It is not done by me," and so on. Ultimately, because suffering is not to be spoken of as done by me and done by others, therefore showing those impossibilities does no harm. In name, in the world, with the continuity of cause and effect being non-different by its similarity, those names can be seen. For example, just as one says, "This is the lamp I lit, this is the mango tree I planted," so also for this, the previous moment of a sentient being and the later moment of a sentient being, the connection of cause and effect is not different, so for what is done is called done by me. Even if it is already other, but between cause and effect
