May the state realized by the Wisdom Lamp be the way to realize non-conceptuality. Having attained the immaculate, non-conceptual, and indestructible state that transcends all words and thoughts, like the sky, may I also quickly illuminate the world with the light of the Wisdom Lamp, dispelling darkness. Composed by the teacher Lekdenjé (Śilabhadra). This concludes the chapter on "Examination of Views" from the Wisdom Lamp, a commentary on the Root Verses on the Middle Way. This is the twenty-seventh chapter, the final one. The word-by-word commentary on the Root Verses on the Middle Way, called "Wisdom," is a treatise on the Mahāyāna Dharma, which accurately reveals the ultimate truth and clarifies the principles of the Perfection of Wisdom. Composed by the great teacher, the noble Nāgārjuna, who possessed unexcelled wisdom and compassion, and who expounded the unsurpassed teachings of the Tathāgata. He attained the Joyful Ground and passed away to the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī, transforming into the Tathāgata Jñānākarālokana in the world called Immaculate Light. Its connection, the Wisdom Lamp, serves to establish the principles of the supreme vehicle, to dispel the defilements of wrong views, to clarify inference and refutation, and to reveal the truth. The teacher Lekdenjé, who has attained the supreme state of the noble Avalokiteśvara, has reached the far shore of the ocean of philosophical tenets of self and others, and has passed away to a special place of accomplished mantra holders, has completed this work with the vow to travel to the Vajra Seat in this very life. By the command of the supreme powerful lord, the great king Pal Lhatsenpo. Translated, edited, and finalized by the Indian abbot, the Mahāyāna Madhyamaka Jñānagarbha, and the Tibetan editor-translator, the monk Cogro Klu'i rgyalmtshan. This contains twenty-seven chapters, six thousand ślokas, and is divided into twenty fascicles. The Wisdom Lamp, a commentary on the Root Verses on the Middle Way, by Lekdenjé.
