If one becomes that Nāpāpa, then having the six sense sources such as the eye, the previously existing order, and the arising of feelings etc., if it is the Tathāgata's reasoning, then that grasping one that you grasp, does not exist before the grasping of the eye etc., because it is imputed, just as cloth does not exist before the threads. Saying this, it contradicts that reasoning. Therefore, since it harms the previous view, it will be harmed, so that is not good. Here it says: Seeing and hearing etc., and feelings etc., also, that place of arising from which it changes, it is not there either. Because the substantially existent grasper itself is not established. Then what is it like? Only in name, name and form, and relying on them, it is merely imputed as the grasper. Because in the ultimate sense, the state of name and form where the grasper is substantially existent is not admitted, so there is no harm to the previous view. Or: Seeing and hearing etc., and feelings etc., also, that place of arising from which it changes, it is not there either. This sentence is the remainder of the sentence that says they themselves are established as the grasper. If the grasper grasped by the place of arising, how can it not be established as the nature of the grasper of seeing etc.? The grasper grasped by the place of arising should not distinguish those grasped by seeing etc. as the grasper, because other than them is the grasper, just like the grasper of the place of arising of a different continuum, this is because it can be inferred. Moreover, when the place of arising is grasped, seeing etc. are not grasped, and also, when seeing etc. are grasped, the place of arising is not grasped either. If when seeing and hearing etc., and feelings etc., are grasped, then is it said to be the grasper? That is not good, even when seeing etc. are grasped, seeing etc. are only gathered together, so it is not substantially existent. If it is as desired?
