If it does not become action, what will happen? Action will become without cause. Because it can be established even without an agent. The agent also becomes without cause. Because the agent does not do action and does not depend on action. This half verse also shows that the dharma of agent and action, both agent and action, are mutually dependent. Here, the subsequent inference is also the same as before, with regard to the aspect of agent and action. The difference is that those who have become non-agents and non-actions are to be made into one side. If someone says to us that agent and action are like this, autonomy is the agent. The highest intention of the agent is the action. Because one's own nature is established, it is originally independent of each other. Therefore, because it has dependence, the meaning of this reason is not established. If you say so, then being eager to refute will cause great harm to it. How is it? Here, what is said to be autonomy is the agent, also because there is autonomy in being good at completing the method of action. It is originally dependent on action. The highest intention of the agent is the action, also because it depends on the agent. The agent and the action of the agent and the action, merely establishing names, there is the existence of mutually approaching to become the entity of cause. This is unreasonable to say that the agent and action are independent of each other, therefore the agent and action become without cause. Like this: If there is no cause, there is no result, and the cause is also unreasonable. Because of the power of cause and condition each determined, the action itself is called the result. Even if gathered together to become a collection of causes that work together, if it exists, merely arising is called the cause of the result. For the independent, the causeless cannot become a cause, and its fruitless cannot become a result, it is thought so. Also, if it does not exist, there is no action and agent and action. If that result does not exist, there is no action and agent and action, because the actions of worldly vases and other external objects are also the highest intention of the agent.

If "it is action" depends on the agent, then for the effort that can accomplish the pot, the autonomy possessed by the wise who do not forget the means and wisdom, that is, the so-called "agent," also does not depend on other agents but depends on action. To accomplish the pot with many limbs, with itself as the limb of accomplishment, the supreme of accomplishment is the so-called "agent," which also depends on the agent and action. If there is no dependence, then these do not exist, just as if there is no tree to be cut, then there is no cutting, cutter, and cutting action. Furthermore: If actions and so on are unreasonable, then dharma and non-dharma do not exist. If actions, agents, and actions are unreasonable, then dharma and non-dharma do not exist, because from the opponent's point of view, dharma and non-dharma are accomplished and elucidated by actions, agents, and actions. Please understand it this way. If some of our own sects say this: Because there is no agent and no feeler for conditioned things, the fault of having no agent does not cause harm, because dharma and non-dharma are acknowledged as the nature of the differences in the actions of body, speech, and mind. If merely the collection of causes and conditions that assist each other is acknowledged as the agent in name only, then because of relying on this, dharma and non-dharma are called actions. If there is no agent, then the action that depends on it will not be accomplished. Therefore, it is unreasonable that the fault of not having dharma and non-dharma, etc., does not cause harm, because there is no reason for dependence. As shown above, according to the manner shown: If dharma and non-dharma do not exist, then the fruit arising from them will not exist. If dharma and non-dharma do not exist, then the fruit arising from them, that is, the bodies, senses, and enjoyments in the realms of gods, humans, hell beings, animals, and hungry ghosts, and the accomplishment of agreeable and disagreeable natures, etc., will not exist. Thus, if there is no fruit, then the path to liberation and rebirth in higher realms is unreasonable. All actions will become meaningless.
