thereby increasing. Therefore, in this way, due to the linguistic customs of both the wise and the unwise, it has been promised that there is birth and so on, so there is no fault of the subject, reason, and example, etc., not being established. Some say: In order to show the cause of the arising of afflictions, other than those three conceptualizations, three examples such as dreams are shown. Others say that the outsiders believe that there is only existence of birth and so on, because it is the object of direct perception, and there is an agent, and it is held by the non-different continuum, for example, form. In order to show that those are uncertain, three examples such as dreams are spoken in order. The Blessed One also said to the Hearer Vehicle that although there is no self and no self-nature, but because it appears that way, as an antidote to the afflictive obscurations: Form is like a bubble, feeling is like a water bubble, perception is like a mirage, formations are like a banana tree, consciousness is like an illusion. He taught by observing that. In the Great Vehicle, conditioned things are also without self-nature, but because they appear that way and are shown that way, as an antidote to afflictive and cognitive obscurations: Like stars, haze, lamps, illusions, dewdrops, bubbles, dreams, lightning, and clouds, conditioned things should be viewed in that way. Therefore, there is no place for fear in this, and those with intelligence should fully examine and generate patience. Others say that the Blessed One showed that all formations are without self, for example, illusion, echo, image, mirage, dream, water bubble, water bubble, and a collection of banana trees. There is no suchness in this, nor is there any unerring suchness, these are all elaborations, these are also false. It is also said: All dharmas are without self. What is said to be without self is the meaning of without self-nature, because the word self is a word for self-nature.

They say. If it is not other, then the appearance of self here is because of the mistaken suchness, and the word "self" is also a word of self, so there is neither self nor other for them. Oneself is also not self, just as it is not Ishvara. Therefore, by that source, one should specifically understand the meaning of the word "no-self of the person" in the Hearer Vehicle, so it cannot show the no-self of phenomena. If it could, then holding other vehicles would be meaningless, they say. Here, the meaning of the refutation is that by refuting the faults of the opponent's first argument, it is shown that all conditioned phenomena are without inherent existence. Therefore, Subhuti, as much as it is conditioned, that much is false. Similarly, that which does not apply to the conditioned, nor to the unconditioned, that is what applies to the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, all phenomena abide in suchness, and what is suchness? It is that there is neither conditioned nor unconditioned. That which has neither conditioned nor unconditioned has no duality. That which has no duality is suchness. Similarly, Brahma, what difference is there between conditioned and unconditioned phenomena? He said: Manjushri, for conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, there is only a difference in name. A Bodhisattva who holds this dharani does not become arrogant towards conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, nor does he fixate on them. And so on. Similarly, suppressing with great force, form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are neither conditioned nor unconditioned, that is the Perfection of Wisdom. Form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are also not of the nature of arising, nor of the nature of ceasing. Form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are not of the nature of arising, nor of the nature of ceasing.

English
That is the Perfection of Wisdom. There is no conditioned or unconditioned apart from conceptualization. Because ignorant children, like seeing a son in a widow's dream, grasp at the conditioned and unconditioned. These statements are established. Composed by the teacher Lekdenjé, from the commentary on the Root Verses on the Middle Way, the Lamp of Wisdom, the chapter on examining arising, abiding, and ceasing, which is the seventh chapter. Now, in order to refute the distinctions of the opposing side of emptiness, and by the power of the meaning of showing that the aggregates and so forth are without inherent existence, the eighth chapter is begun. Here it is said: In ultimate truth, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are indeed existent, because the Blessed One taught the agent and action based on them. Here, the Blessed One did not teach the agent and action based on what is nonexistent, like the horns of a donkey and a mare. But for the aggregates and so forth, the Blessed One did teach the agent and action based on them, such as: One should practice the Dharma that is well practiced. One should not practice what is badly practiced. The practitioner of Dharma will abide happily in this world and in the next. Thus, the agent and action are also taught. In this regard, in the Dharma Abhidharma, karma is of three kinds, distinguished by virtue, non-virtue, and the unspecified. Among these, virtue is also of four kinds, distinguished by nature and being endowed with similarity, arising from all sides, and ultimate truth. Non-virtue is also the same. The unspecified is also of four kinds, distinguished by being born from maturation, arising from conduct, arising from the place of crafts, and arising from transformation. Therefore, by the strength of the reason stated above, in ultimate truth, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are indeed existent. In this regard, if one asserts that the reason is that the agent and action are taught based on them in ultimate truth, then the meaning is not established. However, if one asserts that it is nominally established because it cannot be prevented by a stick, then it is contradictory to the meaning and is a re-establishment of what has already been established. The Blessed One
